Ninety Six Primary School Teaching Assistant (s):
Greenwood District 52 is seeking teacher assistants for Ninety Six Primary. Interested candidates should possess at a minimum a high school diploma. Candidates with two or four year degrees are preferred. If a candidate with a high school diploma is selected, the candidate must pass the ParaPro exam prior to employment. All candidates should be interested in working with special education students. The selected candidate will be required to pass background checks and have a clear TB test prior to employment. Ninety Six High School's graduation will be held on Thursday, May 29th at Lander's Finis Horne Arena. Everyone must have a ticket and a clear bag policy will be enforced.
Congratulations to NSHS student Caroline Austin on being chosen as Kiwanis Star Student! This award is given annually by the Greenwood Kiwanis Club to 5 students in the County with the highest SAT/ACT scores. Caroline chose NSHS Art teacher Mary Thompson to join her at the Kiwanis meeting. Congratulations again to Caroline on this outstanding award!
NSHS Senior Madison Bradley is scared, excited, and nervous about her upcoming graduation next week. She will always remember the high school's teachers and staff who made her feel comfortable and safe.
Congratulations to all of the students and staff who were recognized at the May Board of Trustees meeting! We recognized our Heart of the Wildcat winners and the State Champion Ninety Six High School Marching Band at the meeting.
The Ninety Six 8U Girls Softball team was recently crowned 2025 Lakelands Tournament Champions! Coach Owings said: “The girls worked so hard this season, persevered through the tough times, and walked off the field as regular season Lakelands Champions and undefeated Lakelands Tournament Champions, with their heads held high and gold medals around their necks.” Congratulations to all of the girls of this outstanding accomplishment!

NSHS Senior Janiyah Squire is anxious about her upcoming high school graduation in a few weeks. She will always remember all of her teammates and winning Upper State in Girls Volleyball. Janiyah plans to attend USC Upstate in the Fall.
