Our Wolf Leaders have definitely left their mark across the community this month! Each grade level chose a different organization, first responder, community leader, etc. to recognize with holiday well wishes. We love seeing how practicing Habit 4: Think Win-Win and engaging in service learning activities is impacting our community!

A friendly reminder that tomorrow is an early release day for all NISD schools!

Campuses will dismiss students at the following times:
• Elementary Schools - 11:40 a.m.
• Middle Schools - 12:55 p.m.
• High Schools - 12:30 p.m.
• Steele ECHS - 12:20 p.m.

So many lost items looking to be found! All items left in the lost and found on December 21 will be donated. Parents can sign in at the front office to check the lost and found!

Seven Hills Elementary will be participating in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) this year. UIL programs are designed to support the basic academic curriculum and allow students to apply what they have learned in the classroom in a competitive atmosphere. We are very excited that our students will have the opportunity to represent SHES at the UIL competition. We will have our competition at Justin Elementary and will compete with other elementary schools that feed into Northwest HS. The event will be held on March 25th. More information will be shared at a later date for exact time.

Please check the Parent Square message for detailed grade level information Please have students choose their top 3 choices for their grade level. Most of the events have the practice times. PTA Breakfast with Santa is today! Your family may also enjoy the City of Newark events this evening. The Student Lighthouse and Girls on the Run student groups will be singing at 4:30 pm.

You won’t want to miss this PTA event on Saturday!

Picture retakes are Thursday, November 30. Please make sure your child’s teacher knows that you would like for your student to take pictures on Thursday. All proofs are sent via email directly from Glamourcraft.

Seven Hills will host a Veterans Day program on Friday, November 10 at 8 am. Community Veterans and 5th grade parents are invited to attend. All students and staff are invited to wear red, white, and blue in recognition of Veterans Day.

Family Mission Night Registration Closes Tomorrow!

When: Tuesday, October 17 at 5:30 pm

Where: Seven Hills

What: Each family will have a reserved table for optimum synergy, and families will be served a Chick-Fil-A dinner. Seven Hills staff will guide families through the process to define who you are, how you want to be known, and how you plan to do it…ultimately resulting in a family mission statement.

Register: We anticipate high interest in this special event. Please register early. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 11, and seats will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Families will be notified on Thursday, October 12 if they have a reserved table. A waiting list will be kept in the event of cancellation and for future event planning.

PTA UPDATE: We would like to extend a big congratulations to Prairie View Elementary PTA and the PVE community for your victory over our Wolves ❤️🐺💙 In a VERY tight race the Hawks pulled out the win with 106 new memberships to our 100, for the month of September!!
