Please read this message from Kris Diamond:

SGCE night at the Rockies 6/14/24!
Hi families, I apologize for the confusion yesterday around the emails to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade families. The district sent the email from last year rather than the one I asked to send. Hopefully you all got the updated email in the afternoon with the correct date of Friday, June 14th! But I was also informed that the link to sign up didn't go through with the email. Ugh.
So... get more info and signup your 3rd/4th/5th grader here:

ALL families are welcome to attend a cheer us on as we sing. Get tickets here:

National Anthems | Colorado Rockies This unique experience of performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” on the field before a Rockies game is an event we’d like to share with your entire community!

Conferences are cancelled this week due to the forecasted snow. They will be rescheduled for sometime in April.

Good morning Wrangler families. Hi everyone! Due to illness and injury of PTO board members, we will have to cancel School Store tomorrow (March 1st)
Sorry for any inconvenience

Sage Canyon's "Roots & Shoots" 21/01/2024

We couldn’t be more proud of our very own Ms. Trimarco and her program!!!

Sage Canyon's "Roots & Shoots" Lessons in gardening are taking root at Sage Canyon Elementary. The school’s newest offering, Roots & Shoots, has students digging in the dirt, planting seeds, and experimenting with different methods of growing plants. It’s environmental science in a fun, hands-on way.

So many people in the community have reached out asking how to help. This is the best way to support us at this time.

Hi Parents!

I know that school just started and you most likely are not thinking about the end of the school year just yet, but I wanted to fill you all in on an awesome promotion that Treering (our amazing Yearbook partner) is running right now. If you order your child's yearbook now through the end of October, you will receive 10% off! Who doesn't love to save money?!?!

If you're new to Sage Canyon or haven't ordered a yearbook in years past, you can click on the link at the bottom of this post to create a new account. The system is very user friendly, but if you have any questions, feel free to drop a comment below or PM me and I'd be happy to help 🙂

For those of you who already have a Treering account, you can use the same link below, but scroll down to the bottom of the web page where it says "Already have an account?" and click the Log In link to sign into your existing account. This link is tied to Sage Canyon, but if the system happens to ask you for a passcode that's been provided by the school, that code is 1016631910251607

An amazing benefit that I love about Treering Yearbooks are the 2 FREE pages that you get to customize in the front of your child's yearbook with your own photos, or you can be like me and purchase as many extra pages as you want for $0.99 per every 2 additional pages! It's a fun way to personalize your yearbook and have a keepsake of memories to look back on each year! You have until March 24th to customize the pages, so no rush on that just yet. I'll send you all more reminders about that deadline as it approaches 🙂

Hi families! Please read this message from Mandy:

Hi Wrangler Families,

In hindsight, I wish that meteorology and weather forecasting had been a class during principal school. There are times lately that I really need it!

As you can imagine, our field is still soaked from all the rain. The forecast for Thursday and Friday looks cool with rain off and on all day. This would make for a miserable field day for our kids.

Due to this, we will be moving Field Day to next Monday and Tuesday with the same classes grouped together as before:

Monday, May 22nd- Kindergarten, 1st Grade, Embrey, Trimarco, Smeton, and Donahue

Tuesday, May 23rd- Marti, Senkosky, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, Duerr and Higgins

Field day will still run from 9:30-1:30 and we welcome all parents to join us for the fun.

I appreciate your patience and understanding as we make decisions in the best interest of our students.

It’s the end of Teacher Appreciation Week today! A large chunk of the funds PTO raises throughout the year goes right back to our teachers and staff, and this week is always a biggie. PTO likes to do daily gifts and then we end the week with a teacher banquet where we take the teachers out to dinner. Here are the gifts we did through the week so you can see where some of those hard-earned funds go!

Monday: We hired Good Hart Coffee Catering to come set up a coffee cart in the lobby for the morning. Teachers got to order a fancy coffee or tea of choice to start their day.

Tuesday: Each staff member got a reusable grocery tote, sunscreen, and chapstick.

Wednesday: Everyone got a mini cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Thursday: Staff got a self-care kit from Buff City Soap.

Friday: We hosted the teacher banquet at Wild Blue Yonder this year. Staff got to eat and relax and hang out with each other.

And as a reminder, we gift to all 80 staff members, not just the teachers.
If you ever want to join PTO, we’d love to have you. Ashley, our PTO President will be sharing where the other funds went soon too!
Until then, thank your child’s teacher today! We would be nowhere without our amazing educators and admins and owe them the world!
-Susie from PTO
