The Job Fair is ten days away, and we are still looking for local businesses!

Local Businesses Invited to Participate in an Exciting Career Exploration Event on January 16.

Attention local businesses! We invite you to be part of an exciting job fair and career exploration event organized by the students of our Senior Civics Capstone course at SGHS. This event is not only a fantastic opportunity for your business to connect with the future workforce but also supports our students as they work towards earning the New York State Seal of Civic Readiness.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, Jan. 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the high school. Our capstone students have already secured participation from about 20 fantastic local businesses and trades, but there’s still room for more!

If you own or work for a local business and want to join this amazing opportunity, we would love to have you! Please reach out via email to teachers Kerry Saati at [email protected] or Conor Quinn at [email protected] for more information.
Let’s work together to inspire young minds to explore diverse career paths and unlock new opportunities for their futures!

Scotia Orthodontics is a local business that is very supportive of our community. They are going one step further by offering all district teachers, support staff, and their immediate families access to $1000 off comprehensive orthodontic treatments when mentioning this letter and their SGCSD affiliation. Thank you, Scotia Orthodontics, for your continued support and for showing our teachers and support staff how amazing they are!
