I am so blessed with the best teachers at my two schools! I have met with all teachers grades K-3 (Cadre grades) and they are so excited to work together for the betterment of our students!

We had a great day getting the year started in Mrs. McVey’s 1st and 2nd grade classes!! We love working together to help our students become the best learners they can be!! We love every minute!

This course was awesome if any teacher, admin, or coach friends want to learn more about balanced literacy shifting to structured literacy!!

Today was bittersweet…first time in 18 years that I didn’t have my own class to celebrate and love on the last day of school BUT I have two wonderful schools full of children that I got to share all year!!
BIG shout out to my amazing teachers for being so fabulous all year and to the students who touch my life every day!! 💚🖤❤️

Mrs. Amburgey’s Kindergarten class has been working hard on author’s purpose of persuasion! We used The Pigeon Finds a Hotdog and the students took on the role of either the pigeon or the duckling! Such a cute little retelling of the story! They did a great job of memorizing their lines and using expression and articulation!

These past few weeks Mrs. Crim’s class has been working super hard on author’s purpose! Check out the growth that these second graders made in our coaching cycle!! We didn’t get many pictures because we were hard at work but so thankful for the opportunity to be in her classroom this year!! 🩵

We had so much fun in first grade at Rykers’ this week. Mrs. Boley (Mrs. Hatton’s class) welcomed us in for ELA/STEM lessons!! We learned about Mae Jemison and being an astronaut!!
We also learned that if you DREAM IT, BELIEVE IT, and WORK HARD FOR IT…you can do anything!!

This week has been so much fun! 🤩 I love being the Literacy Coach and working with these amazing students and staff members! 💚🐾

Mrs. Ferguson’s 3rd graders are on fire!! 🔥 They are showing so much growth! Keep up the amazing work!! The students are so engaged and so proud of themselves!!

Today Martina the Cockroach was having to move around her leaf using prepositions!!

Our principal loves Science and our students!! What a great way to teach, reward, strengthen relationships and so much more!!
