Congratulations to Kimberly Osborn! One of our 2024-2025 Remember the Ten Run Memorial Scholarship Recipients. Kimmie will be receiving a $1,000 scholarship this coming academic year.
Kimberly “Kimmie” Osborn is a third-year PhD candidate studying Counseling Psychology. She was born and raised in the Oklahoma City metro area but moved to Tulsa after graduating college. Broadly, she is passionate about providing and advocating for high-quality, holistic care for individuals from marginalized socioeconomic backgrounds. More specifically, Kimmie’s clinical and research interests relate to the topics of eating disorders, trauma, and foster care. After graduating, she hopes to work in an integrated medical center specializing in eating disorders where she can conduct research and provide clinical care to clients. When she is not seeing clients, conducting research, or doing homework, Kimmie loves spending time with her husband and dog, Juju.
“I am so excited to continue learning and growing in the coming years and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of the life-changing work being done by counselors and mental health clinicians across the world. I am so thankful for groups and initiatives like Remember the Ten Scholarship that provide resources and support for clinicians in training."
We are excited to announce that this is our 13th class of scholarship recipients! That means that next year, we will have awarded $130,000 to OSU Master’s and Doctoral students who are studying in areas related to grief counseling. We couldn’t do it without all the support from our participants, volunteers, donors and community! THANK YOU!
