We are the student branch of IEEE at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Our office is located in EGH 123. as well as food and drinks.

We are the Student branch of IEEE here at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. We offer parts for sale (resistor binders, capacitors, DMM's, breadboards, etc.) If you have any questions you can ask an officer or email them.

Attention students! Boril Logic kits are now available for purchase. Please note that the 74HCT00 chip is currently on backorder and will not be included in the initial kit. Once the chip arrives, you can visit the IEEE office to collect the final piece and complete your kit. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Office hours are back!

These are the hours an officer is scheduled to be in the IEEE room (Busby123) to sell parts. Officers will likely be in the room at other times of the day as well. Everyone is welcome to swing by the IEEE room anytime the door is open to buy food, parts, get coffee, study, or just hang out.

If you need a part and can not make it during the times, please email [email protected] or contact an officer and we will send someone to get you the part ASAP.

Are you panicking because your lab is due tomorrow and you just broke your MOSFET, but the IEEE door is closed? Email [email protected] immediately!

Interested in learning more about what it is like working as an Electrical Engineer in the Power Industry? Russ Franklin will be talking about Power Sytems Engineering and the US Power and Energy Utility situation in the face of new technological changes and challenges. Russ has many years of experience at Alliant Energy and currently works for Ulteig Company. He will be speaking on Thursday November 3 at 8 am in Busby 115 or at 11 am in Busby 332. The presentation will be a half hour with a Q/A session to follow.

Hello everyone,
We have two companies coming to present to us this week! Electrical Consultants Inc. will be meeting with us on Friday September 23rd at 4:00 pm and Plexus will be meeting with us on Monday September 26th at 7:30 pm. This will be a great opportunity to network with company professionals as well as learn about Internships and Job Opportunities they provide. Food will be provided at each event. We will be meeting in the IEEE room (Busby 123) to start.
