Bolt is the racing competition requiring good accuracy and adroitness of the contender to clear all the hurdles and finish the track as soon as possible. Hurry!
Problem Statement: The heroes are contending in dota and their courier is dead. Design a robotic courier to overcome all the hurdles and deliver the items to the heroes. The heroes are struggling and need items immediately. Rules:
1). Starting from a point decided by the organizers, the bot would be overcoming any hurdle to reach the destination.
2).The bot must be controlled by external stimulu
s (remote controlled, hand controlled) but not autonomous. Can be wired or wireless.
3). The Bot size should not exceed the limits of any of the three dimensions. The maximum allowable size is (12’’, 9’’,) and a Ground Clearance of 2’’. Any violation may lead to disqualification.
4). In case the bot topples off the track or get stuck in some hurdle, it can be kept back on the track from where it toppled off or before the last/current hurdle respectively. There will be a maximum of three chance to do so.
5).The maximum time limit would be disclosed before the event. Disqualifications:
1). If bot is not manually controlled, it will meet immediate disqualification.
2). Exceeding the bot size limits may lead to disqualification.
3). If the Bot is found detrimental to the track, it would be disqualified.
4). If the participant is found to be querulous, it would be the contender not the bot who will be disqualified.
** for the first three points, The participants would be allowed to amend the bot, but it has to be done before their turn. Judgement :
1). The time taken by the participant to complete the track would be recorded. In case more than one bot completes the track, time taken would be the deciding factor.
2). Other deciding factors would be the number of hurdles crossed successfully or the distance traveled on the track.
