How Ananth and I Explore Service-Learning Together-1
Starting my new series of blog posts in SpecialSaathi.

In this blog post, I describe efforts to engage Ananth in service-learning. Service-learning was developed as a way to integrate academic learning and community engagement for students.

Service-learning is a valuable tool for creating opportunities to engage neurodivergent learners in the community while creating opportunities for practicing skills.

Learn how our efforts to create the LIFESMART community and interactions with Ramana Sunritya Aalaya (RASA) have resulted in service-learning opportunities for Ananth.

We are co-creating resources for RASA while creating opportunities for Ananth to practice a variety of theater arts and other skills. Read this series and think about your community as a classroom! Our children may be unable to follow the path so many follow, service-learning is one of the ways we can help them chart a unique path that is right for them! Service-learning is one of our key tools for E (Engagement with community in LIFE).
