Practice your social distancing and join us online via Zoom for the first event in Apart, Together – The Immigrant Artist Biennial Exhibition Online Roundtable Series. We'll kick of this series this Wednesday, March 25 from 7-9pm with a roundtable titled The Emergency Exposes Your Status... and Our Shared Vulnerability co-moderated by Katya Grokhovsky and Dylan Gauthier. Participating exhibiting artists include Esperanza Cortés, Bahareh Khoshooee, Daniela Kostova, Levan Mindiashvili, Qinza Najm, Anna Parisi, daaPo reo, Yali Romagoza. At a time when we are witnessing extreme anti-immigrant sentiment, coupled with a global rhetoric of exclusion, discrimination, and the closing of borders, The Immigrant Artist Biennial calls for urgent unity, visibility, and criticality, by facilitating a platform for cultural exchange. The invited artists will share thoughts and work which touch on issues of identity, the meaning of home and place, and the doubly precarious position of living as immigrant cultural workers within a pandemic that transcends borders. For more information and our Zoom link for the event, check out our website at projectspace-efanyc.org!
