8th and 9th standard boys at Shanti Vihar had a post-dinner interactive session around bonfire tonight. Crucial issues such as personal hurts, formation of exclusive groups, measures to improve hostel conditions, how to understand relationships better were discussed.

Though winter is slowly receding, heat from bonfire still felt good and roasted peanuts made the discussions more interesting.

Twelfth standard students posing for a group photograph on the steps of the historic amphitheatre. Board examinations are round the corner; soon they will leave the school and enter a new life. The school will miss them, and when you talk to them, they say they too will miss the school a lot.

Parents can now communicate with their loved ones on the respective hostel mobile numbers from this week. "Education is not only learning from books, memorizing some facts, but also learning how to look, how to listen to what the books are saying, whether they are saying something true or false. All that is part of education. Education is not just to pass examinations, take a degree and a job, get married and settle down, but also to be able to listen to the birds, to see the sky, to see the extraordinary beauty of a tree, and the shape of the hills, and to feel with them, to be really, directly in touch with them..." - ----Krishnamurti On Education
