By far the biggest area of personal growth our students come on SE for is - Discipline - to stick to the goals they’ve set, to consistently pursue Jesus in their personal quite times.

We learn a lifestyle of discipline in the outdoors, and in the quiet space on Soul Edge.

Here’s one of our students absorbing the Word on a hard rock in NZ. We need to learn to not let life get in the way of our pursuit of Jesus, so we practice seeking Him wherever we are!

The Whiskey Jack has got to be one of the most confident birds out there! Confidence is important, a lack of it is what causes stunted growth, both in our character and our faith. We like to lead people out of their comfort zones!

Solitude is hard to do, we’re not good at it. We like reals and progression and stimulation. But, without stillness and solitude we will struggle to learn what the voice of God sounds like. We will struggle to grow in self reflection and awareness.

So we weave it into our regular rhythms on Soul Edge, and it’s loved by all!
