Ignored Narratives: Plutocracy's Finale
Failure is impossible; we must change the curse of history!
hiii, hahahahaha.
Preventing the reign of a political dynast will somehow reduce the corruption and abuse of power that someone executes. As a step for changes, we should give opportunities to aspiring leaders who have the heart to serve the country and its people.

Men of Quality are not afraid of Equality!
One study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that some men feel their own power and status is threatened by women's gains in the workplace and in society, and may exhibit hostile or defensive behaviors as a result. Another study published in the journal S*x Roles found that men who hold traditional beliefs about gender roles may be less likely to support gender equality initiatives.
It is important to note that not all men feel this way, and there are many men who actively support and advocate for gender equality. It is also important to recognize that gender inequality is a complex issue with many factors at play, and there is no one-size-fits-all explanation for why some men may resist or oppose gender equality initiatives.
Today, the concept of equality is more important than ever. Despite significant progress in promoting equal rights and opportunities in many parts of the world, there are still numerous instances of discrimination, prejudice, and injustice that continue to affect certain groups of people. Men of quality can play a crucial role in addressing these issues by advocating for equality and fairness and standing up against any form of discrimination or oppression.
We must understand that true equality does not mean lowering standards or rewarding mediocrity. Rather, it means providing equal opportunities for everyone to achieve their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. Men of quality should recognize that promoting equality is not a threat to their own success, but rather a way to create a more diverse, inclusive, and prosperous society for everyone.

Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797) was one of Britain's first great feminist writers. She wrote of her belief that women were only seen as inferior to men because they did not have the same opportunities for a good education. She stressed that women could contribute a huge amount to society, if only they were given the freedom to do so: 'Would men but generously snap our chains, and be content with rational fellowship, instead of slavish obedience, they would find us more observant daughters, more affectionate sisters, more faithful wives, more reasonable mothers - in a word, better citizens.'
Mary Wollstonecraft was a renowned women’s rights activist who authored A Vindication of the Rights of Woman, 1792, a classic of rationalist feminism that is considered the earliest and most important treatise advocating equality for women. This essay is often seen as the foundation of modern women’s rights movements in the Western world.
Mary Wollstonecraft was a visionary thinker who challenged the prevailing social and cultural norms of her time. She recognized that women's lack of education and opportunities was a major obstacle to their progress and advocated for equal rights and opportunities for women. Her book, "A Vindication of the Rights of Woman," was a powerful argument for women's equality and inspired generations of women to fight for their rights.
Wollstonecraft's work was groundbreaking in that it challenged the deeply ingrained beliefs and attitudes about women's roles in society. She argued that women were not inherently inferior to men but were rather disadvantaged by their lack of education and opportunities. Her ideas were radical for their time and helped to lay the foundation for the modern women's rights movement.
Despite the criticism and ridicule she faced during her lifetime, Wollstonecraft remained committed to her ideals and continued to advocate for women's rights until her death. Her legacy continues to inspire women around the world to fight for gender equality and to challenge the curse of history.

It is important to know about women's rights because historically, women have faced systematic discrimination and oppression in various areas of life, such as education, employment, and politics. Women have been denied the same opportunities and rights as men, including the right to vote, own property, and receive an education.
Understanding women's rights and advocating for gender equality helps to promote a fair and just society. It enables women to have equal access to opportunities and resources, as well as to be treated with dignity and respect.
Moreover, knowing about women's rights can help to prevent and address issues such as gender-based violence, discrimination, and harassment. It is essential
The 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines Article 2 Section 26 states that "the State shall guarantee equal access to opportunities for public service, and prohibit political dynasties as may be defined by law". This section firmly opposes the act monopolizing power in disguise of political dynasties.
As stated at the constitution, every aspiring leaders have the right to have an opportunity to serve wholeheartedly to its country. We shouldn't take their chances away from them, instead, we should give equal access of opportunities to run for public service which is a right that they deserve.

Poor people have the same rights as everyone else, as enshrined in various international and national human rights declarations and conventions. It is important that governments and societies ensure that these rights are upheld and protected for all individuals, including those who are living in poverty.
Republic Act No. 8425 of 1997, which spelled out the Philippine Government's Social Reform Agenda (SRA), states that poverty takes many forms of deprivation of basic needs, including deprivation in health, food and nutrition, water, shelter and decent housing, education, among others.

Politicians have its own mask. A lot of politicians who are capable of passing their power have been hiding their heinous intentions. They run for a candidacy just to protect their abominable crime and kin. What you see is not what it is, you must see the bigger picture for you to know the nature of one's behavior. It is the reason why we need to criticize politicians, for us to know their nature. Politicians are clever, they have strategies to hide their tail. A lot of politicians are two faces, they're as cunning as a fox that pretends to be good in the outside. We can never deny that some of them are good actors, who are disguising and doing good deeds just for a front.
Aspiring leaders who are much capable of running a country are being ignored instead of preventing the corrupt individuals to take power. Who are to blame? Us, who have the right to choose our leader, however, are we really exercising our rights? Some of us have been receiving money to sold the ballot and manipulate the election results, so once they have a taste of wealth, they are blinded by greed. We're asking for a change and yet that change is in our hands, we're capable of changing our country as we are a democratic country. Don't be blind.

Blaze of Rebellion: The Unstoppable Force of Women's Empowerment
This is a tribute to the women who have fought and continue to fight for gender equality. It acknowledges the historical oppression of women and how they were denied their rights and freedoms for centuries. The poem emphasizes the resilience of women and how they refused to be silenced or diminished, despite facing ridicule, harassment, and hate.
The poem also highlights the strength and power of women's voices. It portrays women as a force to be reckoned with, who were able to organize and rally together to demand their rights. They marched, protested, and fought against the systems that kept them oppressed, and refused to give up until they had won their trust.
Moreover, this work of art stresses the importance of acknowledging and celebrating the achievements of women's movements throughout history. It emphasizes that women's rights are not just an issue for women, but a matter of justice and equality for all. The poem encourages us to keep the blaze of rebellion, the flame burning bright, and continue to support the cause of women's rights.

The most recent poll conducted by the government itself confirms this. Almost 5.6 million Filipino households were estimated to be living in abject poverty in 2022 by the poll. This corresponds to atleast 33 million Filipinos living in perpetual poverty with no hope for a better, brighter 2023, given the size of the typical six-person Filipino family. They claim that this represents over 30 percent of the 111 million people who call the Philippines home. In other words, three out of every ten Filipinos live in poverty and hunger.
An illustration of how youngsters combat poverty is shown below. Let's get to know a 12-year-old child who failed to complete grade two due to poverty. At his age, he chooses to swim in a sea of trash rather than study, this youngster sacrifices his health and fulfills the responsibilities of his parents.

Political dynasty have become our culture. The Philippines has 80 provinces. Of these, 94 percent, meaning 73 out of 80, have political dynasties. This shows how political dynasties rules the Philippines. The Philippine Constitution 1987 Article 2 Section 6 explicitly provides that every qualified Filipino should have an equal opportunity for public service and yet political dynasties contravened this Constitution. Political dynasties effectively disqualify highly qualified prospective public officers, create more opportunities for corruption, and generate cynicism about public service, thus, terminating political dynasty promotes equal chances on aspiring leaders.

These are the facts, and the herstory!
Those insignificant narratives must come to an end. We are here to wholeheartedly embrace the beauty of history of women's rights.
The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), formerly known as the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women (NCRFW), has its story linked to the history of Philippine feminism, women’s movements, and gender mainstreaming.
The Commission is the primary policymaking and coordinating body on women and gender equality concerns. It continues to build upon the past efforts and achievements in advancing the status of women. It acts as a catalyst for gender mainstreaming, the authority on women’s concerns, and advocates for women’s empowerment, gender equity, and gender equality.
On August 14, 2009, through the Republic Act 9710, otherwise known as the Magna Carta of Women, the NCRFW was renamed PCW. Its mandate was expanded, and its structure and staffing pattern were revised with assistance from the Department of Budget and Management. The Commission is then tasked to monitor and oversee the implementation of the Magna Carta and ensure that government agencies are capacitated in its effective implementation.
Furthermore, there are several factors make it crucial to understand the history of women's rights:

This understanding can enable us to more fully appreciate both the work that has already been done and the work that has to be done.
• Inspiring future generations: Knowing about the women who battled for equality in the past can serve as an inspiration for future generations of women. Understanding the history of women's rights allows us to realize how far we have come and be inspired to continue fighting for equality.
• Challenges regarding gender stereotypes: Researching the history of women's rights can help to dispel preconceived notions about the roles women have performed throughout history. By appreciating the contributions of women in the past, we may expand our perspective of what women are capable of doing.
In general, it is crucial to comprehend the history of women's rights in order to acknowledge both the advancements that have been made and the work that still needs to be done to reach genuine equality.
Learning the essence of the factual antecedents of women's rights is like climbing a mountain. By looking back at the path we have taken, we can appreciate how far we have come and how much we have achieved. At the same time, we can look up at the peak ahead of us and be inspired to continue climbing towards a more just and equal society. Just as climbers need to be aware of the terrain and obstacles they have faced to make their way up a mountain, understanding the struggles women have faced in the past is essential for overcoming the challenges that lie ahead in the ongoing struggle for gender equality. By using this knowledge and these perspectives, we could possibly create the equitable world that our minds wanted to live in.

Poverty: The Impact on Life Chances, Experiences and Opportunities for Young People.
Poverty is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon that can be defined in many ways. Broadly speaking, poverty refers to the lack of resources, opportunities and basic needs needed to lead a decent and decent life. This can include things like adequate food, clean water, shelter, health care, education, and social support.
Poverty can manifest in a variety of ways, including absolute poverty, which refers to the lack of basic necessities, and relative poverty, where individuals or groups have fewer resources than others in their society. Poverty can also be experienced differently by different groups of people, such as women, children and marginalized communities, who may face barriers and discrimination that aggravate their poverty. Poverty has a profound impact on individuals, families, communities and society as a whole. This can lead to poor health outcomes, limited educational and employment opportunities, social exclusion, and a host of other negative consequences. The fight against poverty requires a holistic and multifaceted approach that includes addressing its root causes, such as inequality, discrimination and lack of access to resources and facilities.

Termination of Political Dynasty: A Step for Aspiring Leaders
The world is full of complexity. It is made up of a speck of just and an ocean of cruelness. Since the establishment of the first Republic of the Philippines in 1899, the country had gone through many changes due to the other countries that have coveted it, and over the past years, political dynasties have continued to adapt. Political dynasty is the complete control of power of a clan within a region, it plays a big role in economy and politics of one’s country. On a darker side, political dynasty monopolizes power, breeds corruption, and ineptitude.
You won't live by yourself as to why we need a capable leader. Political dynasty disqualifies some of the highly qualified prospective law makers and officers. This is a big loss for a country who is still striving to solve the poverty that the people are suffering from. Every aspiring leader should be given equal opportunity and chances to serve the country for its betterment. Terminating a political dynasty will provide independence to the citizens as well as opportunities for aspiring leaders whose platform and intentions are anchored on the welfare of the masses. Running in a position because it is an obligation is different from running for the nation.

The Movement for Women's Rights: A Headway for Equality
Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. Human rights are like the roots of a tree, anchoring individuals and communities in a shared sense of humanity and common purpose. They nourish the growth and development of society, providing stability and strength to withstand external pressures. Human rights are human rights. No matter who a person is, regardless of their gender, where they’re from, what they believe, or how they live, everyone has rights that cannot be taken away by any individual.
Withstanding, women's rights are the fundamental human rights. Women are entitled to all of these rights. Yet almost everywhere around the world, women and girls are still denied them, often simply because of their gender. Every woman's rights are an invaluable part of the global movement for equality and justice. For too long, women have been marginalized, discriminated against, and oppressed due to their gender, leading to a range of negative impacts. Women's empowerment and women's movements are essential for the development and progress of any society, including the Philippines.
The women's movement is a rising tide that lifts all boats. Like a powerful wave, it has surged forward with momentum, pushing against societal barriers and norms that have long held women back. This wave has been fueled by the collective voices and actions of countless individuals, who have worked tirelessly to challenge gender inequality and promote equal rights and opportunities for women.
Just as a rising tide brings new life and vitality to the shore, the women's movement has brought about a renewed sense of hope and empowerment to women around the world. It has created a space for women to share their stories, amplify their voices, and demand the recognition and respect they deserve. And like the relentless force of the ocean, the women's movement shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to push forward and break down barriers until true gender equality is achieved.
