Jacob's (J's) prologue from The Prince & the Witch at The Manitoba Theatre for Young People, July 2019. A 3 minute and 10 second clip.
This show involves 5 "on stage" costume changes for me: Jacob (J) (the Prince's Servant), Eli (the Prince), Mirabel (the witch), the Royal Messenger (the Pantomime/Village Masquerade Silent Narrator), and the Old Man (the Apple Seller). The rotational rectangular box set piece (with painted scenic panels) revolves 3 times to reveal 5 different backdrops! Backdrops number 4 and 5 are layered (one on top of the other). "Magic, mystery, and many reveals." 🎭
