Tutoring with Jessica

Tomorrow brings the first SEAG paper for some of our Primary 7 pupils. While they have been working consistently hard, I still sometimes hear “that’s too hard for me”. This is their reminder that they can do hard things.

All of their hard work will stand them in fantastic ground for the future. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with each and every one of them!

3D shape detectives 🔎

This star has been learning all about the 3D shapes. We went on a shape hunt to discover what 3D shapes are around us. We were amazed by how many we could find!

I just love getting messages like this about how pupils are showing their best in everything they do. I am always delighted with the effort and commitment Bracken shows to her piano work and I am so pleased she has had opportunities to demonstrate this already in her new school! 🤩

To everyone receiving GCSE results today… YOU DID IT!

Whether the results you open today are the ones you were hoping for or not, do not de-value the time and effort you put into getting here. YOU put in the work, learning material from over two years in some cases. YOU persevered through the long exam period in May and June. YOU learned material from different subjects (up to 10 subjects in some cases). YOU focused and gave your all in every exam. YOU should be very proud of everything you have achieved!

Best wishes for today everyone, I am thinking of you all. I hope that the next year brings opportunities for you to explore something you enjoy.

ASD & Inclusion Session at Montalto | 9:30am - 11am
Every Monday Morning in July & August

Whether it’s someone with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Down Syndrome or any other additional or sensory needs, we understand that coming to a visitor attraction can potentially be an overwhelming experience.

With the start of the Summer Holidays, we are now holding an ASD & Inclusion Session in our Play Park and Ice Cream Parlour each Monday. The estate will ONLY be accessible to those with special / additional needs during 9:30am - 11am.

Standard ticket prices apply and you are welcome to stay until closing on the day your ticket is valid.
Registered carers have free access to Montalto Estate when accompanying the person they provide care for. Access will be granted for the carer when appropriate identification is shown in our Ticket Office, so please bring this with you on the day.

An honour and privilege to play piano alongside pupils and family yesterday at the special assembly marking the retirement of my primary school principal.

Mrs Stitt, we are very grateful for all the support and kindness you have shown us over the years. The encouragement you have given has helped shape us into the young people we are today and, for that, we are extremely thankful.

This summer we are offering 1-2-1 tuition for all primary ages, including SEAG preparation sessions, and 1-2-1 tuition for GCSE maths. These sessions will be tailored to the individual needs and abilities of pupils. There is also the opportunity to come with a friend to paired tuition slots.

We will also be running small group classes again. These classes will be as follows:

☀️KS1 Phonics (P3 and P4 entry)
☀️Times Tables
☀️Year 8 Maths Prep (Primary 7)
☀️SEAG Tricky Questions
Small group classes will have a maximum of 5 pupils per class priced at £30 for 4 sessions.

Due to last year’s success and a number of requests, our GCSE Maths Easter sessions are back for 2023! 🌟

Following the format below, we will explore recent CCEA past papers. Sessions will be tailored to individual needs as we approach these papers together.

Sessions will take place in April on Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th. The design of this will allow for support at the beginning of the Easter break, some time for revision and sessions in the second week of the break to allow any further questions to be answered.

£75 for 4 sessions, delivered at my location. All resources will be provided 📚

☀️ Summer 2022 ☀️

It has been such a privilege to spend time reading, writing and learning with amazing children over the past 8 weeks. We’ve read to the gruffalo, made new friends and so much more. It has been a pleasure to watch each child grow in confidence and skills over the holidays. Every child brought a smile and their best effort every time and I couldn’t ask for any more!

A huge thank you to all parents for your continued support. Your children have been such a credit to you all and you should be so proud of all that they have achieved this summer.
