Good evening everyone! We would like to announce an important update regarding our webinar.

Due to the several typhoons experienced last November, we regret to inform you that the Zoom webinar "Quaranteachers: Capitalizing on Teachable Moments at Home" was cancelled.

However, watch out for Teacher Nam's recorded lecture that will be posted here soon! We believe that it will still be useful for parents interested in enriching their children's learning at home.

Thank you very much!

Hello there! We are students from BS Family Life and Child Development, UP Diliman currently taking FLCD 131: Family Life Education. We are hosting a webinar entitled Quaranteachers: Capitalizing on Teachable Moments at Home, on November 21, 2020, at 3 PM. Asst. Prof. Miriam I. Ugaddan (Teacher Nam), a faculty member from the Department of Family Life and Child Development, UP Diliman will be our resource speaker.

The shift to remote learning setup has brought about big changes in the daily routine of the family members at home. Some of the concerns raised by parents include unsustained attention, lack of motivation, tech problems, and conflict in work and home schedule. Our webinar will focus on exploring ways to teach children through the everyday opportunities such as a simple trip to the grocery, sorting clothes, fixing shoes, and packing away the toys in the play area.

The zoom session is limited to the parents and guardians of children enrolled in UP Child Development Center. We will record the lecture and post it here in our FB page along with a summary of the Q&A discussion.

Join us as we continue to ensure that the learning of each and every Filipino children remains unhampered as we battle the pandemic. Follow our FB page for more updates! 😊
