We’ve jumped forward massively. But still £6k away from our target. Can you share this post?

Our funding needs are existential and so I would really appreciate the help. With four grassroots orgs in full flow -with not a pennies wage for running them day and night, that’s the best my wife and I can do to keep the costs down. We are on the brink of becoming self sufficient but we need this final push in the last days of Ramadan to get there.

Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother (Muslim) with a cheerful face".

Make things easy

“Make things easy for the people and do not make things difficult for them.” (Saheeh Bukhari #6125)

This simple short advice was aimed primarily at those doing Dawah and teaching Islam. The principle forms one of the primary foundations of Shariah Law i.e. the principle of ease. There are multiple narrations that emphasize this same point. Islam was meant to make life easier for people. Make sure the way you call and guide people to Islam emphasizes the positives and attracts people towards the beauty of Islam.

"Our Sins?"

SubhanAllah, how Allah (swt) has already addressed those who ignorantly say that the deaths and suffering experienced by the people of Syria is an evil thing, as if it is a punishment from Allah (swt) rather than a great struggle for the sake of Allah (swt).

Allah (swt) addresses these people who lack Iman in Surat Al-'Ankaboot, where He said:

"And from among the people are those who say 'We believe in Allah,' but when they are harmed in the path of Allah, they will make the Fitnah of the people the same as the punishment of Allah; and then when the Victory of Allah comes, he will say 'I was always with you.' Does Allah not know best what is in the hearts of all people?"

Look at how the verse progresses. It starts by addressing those who claim to believe in Allah, and implies that this Iman is not true, as it then speaks about how they perceive any harm in the path of Allah (swt) to be a punishment from Allah (swt) rather than having the depth of Iman to recognize that the path of Allah (swt) is filled with harms and struggles.

The next part speaks about the Victory of Allah (swt), proving that these harms and struggles lead to the Victory of Allah (swt), but those with weak Iman cannot see it, as they see all harms and struggles as evil and they cannot handle the idea of sacrificing life and limb for the sake of Allah (swt).

When those struggling are perceived to be winning, these people are supportive with everyone else, but when the struggle shows losses or perceived to be failing, these people make the loss out as if it is a punishment from Allah due to the "evil" of the uprising.

These people become upset when it is said that the Syrian uprising is a great success, and a show of courage and steadfastness that the whole Ummah is learning from, and a major step in the path of the Ummah's revival and the call for Islam, regardless of whether Bashar falls or remains in power. But these people cannot see that this struggle for revival will have its ups and downs, since their weak Iman can only handle the ups, and they fall apart during the downs.

And you know that when the full Victory of Allah (swt) arrives and the enemies of Allah (swt) are defeated, and the Khilafah is re-established, these people will be claim that they were always with you, as if they weren't mocking you and attacking you when you were weak and small in number and being kicked while laying on the ground trying to stand up.

Those of you who call for obedience to the tyrants, and attack the uprisings in the Muslim lands as an evil thing, and attack those who stand up for the truth by calling for the re-establishment of the Khilafah, need to ask yourselves the question Allah (swt) asks you in this verse: Do you think that Allah does not know what is in your heart?

The fitnah of an evil scholar is greater than the fitnah of the Dajjāl, because the Dajjāl will be a fitnah for the public, whereas the scholar is a fitnah for the private and the public. The Prophet (pbuh) ﷺ said, “I fear misguiding scholars for my Ummah more than the Dajjāl.”

فتنة عالم السوء أعظم من فتنة الدجال لأن الدجال يفتن العامة والعالم يفتن الخاصة والعامة قال ﷺ: لأنا من الأئمة المضلين
أخوف على أمتي من الدجال

Narrated Abu Sa'eed:

that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I am the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgement, and I am not boasting. The Banner of Praise will be in my hand, and I am not boasting. There will not be a Prophet on that day, not Adam nor anyone other than him, except that he will be under my banner. And I am the first one for whom the earth will be opened for, and I am not bragging."

We were with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) picking the fruits of the 'Arak trees, and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Pick the black fruit, for it is the best." The companions asked, "Were you a shepherd?" He replied, "There was no prophet who was not a shepherd."
