Today, following on from careers week, two local police officers came to visit Acre View. Each class had the chance to explore the police car, activate the sirens, try on police uniforms, and ask plenty of questions about their work. The children were incredibly welcoming and respectful, and they all had a fantastic time during this special morning. A big thank you to PC Caroline and PC Tony for taking the time to visit our school!🙂

Beth came in to talk to Owl and Eagle class about the benefits of regular exercise and even taught them a few moves.
We are looking forward to adding gymnastics to our already jam packed PE curriculum in the upcoming term!

Spring is in the air and Robin Class have been enjoying the sunshine by planting wildflowers. The class spent time learning about the seeds and the best way for them to grow.
After planting, the tubs were relocated to the front reception, for everyone to enjoy in the upcoming warmer months.

After a restful week off, it has been wonderful to see so many smiling faces this morning.
We have a busy term planned, starting with us celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 6th March 2025.
On this day, children are invited to bring their favourite story to school to read with their class, and are welcome to come that day dressed as their favourite character from a story.
This could be a bedtime story that you share, you could even come to school in your pyjamas!
Of course, if children want to wear their uniform that day, that is also fine.
For anymore information, please contact the office.
