Congratulations to all of the musicians who performed at last week's Solo & Ensemble Festival. It was a great day for music!

It was so awesome to see the community come together to donate time and products to help WOW our guests.

Saturday, March 2: 16 of those 27 spots are door monitors and room chairmen. We need these spots 100% filled.

Please continue to spread the word. Remember, this festival needs volunteers like you to run it. If you've signed up already, thank you! If you haven't yet, please consider doing it now.

5th and 6th grade band parents can bring their band students with them to volunteer for door/room monitors. This would be a great opportunity for your band student to see what happens at Solo & Ensemble and give back to the community by supporting our music program.

7th and 8th grade parents/students can also sign-up to volunteer as door/room monitors. If your student is in the band, please don't sign them up but let us know they're interested in volunteering. We will need to see what time they perform before we can add them as a volunteer.

We need 15 yr olds and older working with food in concessions.

We need volunteers who are flexible with working different volunteer jobs to be our floaters.

As you know, the Solo and Ensemble Festival will be held on March 1 & 2 at KHS.
We need around 200 volunteers to run the event smoothly.
Right now, there are 37 spots available that need to be filled.
In order to give each band student the best opportunity for a successful performance, we need door monitors and room chairmen at each site to help support our judges and students. Door monitors help remind guests to keep noise levels down for our performers. They also help the judge & room chairperson stay on schedule by making sure the next performer is ready. Please consider signing up for one of these positions.
More support is also needed in concessions and we need more “floaters” who will help cover a parent’s shift during a student’s performance.
If you want to be active during the day or need a position you can do sitting down, we've got you covered. There are slots available in all positions as of right now.
No experience necessary. We will train you.
We want everyone who signs-up to wear a special Kimberly music volunteer T-shirt. It makes it easy to find our volunteer crew and you can keep the T-shirt for future use. To have enough time to print the volunteer T-shirts, we need to fill those spots now.

Here are some things you can do to help:

1. If you have High School Students who need volunteer hours, this is a great opportunity.

2. Invite your friends and family to take part in this day. No experience is necessary and we have a variety of roles, some that require standing or walking and others that are sitting positions.

Just wanted to pop on here and give an update on where we are for volunteers for Solo & Ensemble weekend.

We still have 113 volunteer spots to fill.

We do need to fill each spot so that we have enough people to support the judges and directors who will be working all day with our kids. We also want to make sure everyone can go see their musician perform.

We need all families who are able to volunteer for at least one shift.

**Sign-Up Now to Volunteer for Solo & Ensemble**
The Kimberly Music Department will be hosting the N.E. Fox Valley Music Conference Solo & Ensemble Festival again this year and now is the time to sign-up to volunteer!

Each school hosts this special event for 2 consecutive years. For these festivals to be successful and memorable experiences for our students, we need over 100 volunteers to help run the event by being room chairmen, hall monitors, office workers, concessions staff and various other roles. Descriptions for each role can be found on the Sign-Up Genius link.

We had the best volunteers last year and we are hoping we can count on your support again this year! If you volunteered last year, you should have received a volunteer t-shirt to wear again this year while volunteering.

If you are a new volunteer or you need a new t-shirt, please add your t-shirt size when you sign-up.

We will have “floaters” to relieve you during your student’s performance time(s).

Please invite friends, grandparents, and family members to volunteer their time, too. No experience necessary.
