The project team are happy to announce that Volutoring, co-funded by Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships is in the field of adult education has reached its final objectives.

A comprehensive tutoring approach for building key skills and competences of low-skilled adult migrant and refugees, in order to facilitate their integration in educational, professional, social life and to improve their self-reliance.

The projects’ comprehensive capacity-building plan is based on a volunteer-based tutoring model. Volunteers and professionals will be act as tutors and are provided with a set of free downloadable resources for developing literacy, numeracy & digital skills.

🔎 Useful Call for cases from UNESCO!

UNESCO, with the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), is conducting a global landscape study entitled ‘From Radio to Artificial Intelligence: Innovative Literacy Learning and Education for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons’. In preparation for the study, UNESCO invites stakeholders to submit promising case studies from around the world in which technology, ranging from low-tech to cutting-edge solutions, is effectively used to support these groups’ literacy learning and education and contributes to their well-being and social integration.

ILO issued a useful Guide addressed to Employment services providers such as Public Employment Services (PES) and Private Employment Agencies (PrEA) and other authorities at the forefront of requests for supporting services to migrant workers (potential, current and returning migrant workers) and refugees, who will gain a better understanding of the services available and can inform and refer the target group accordingly.
Migrants will also benefit from a better understanding of the services available, particularly in regard to the recognition of their skills.
