Baby and Toddler Music Cascais

Live, interactive music-making using instruments and the voice, songs both familiar and new, movement, play and free improvisation. Small group numbers and a flexible session structure allow space for children’s spontaneous musical responses to be responded to.

Sessions are run by Lazina Gheyselinck. Lazina graduated with a first class honours degree in music from Trinity College Dublin, before training as a teacher at Cambridge University and later a music therapist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has lived in Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Nepal, the UK and Portugal and worked with children of all ages and abilities in a variety of capacities including music teacher, music therapist, class teacher and piano teacher. Before moving to Portugal, Lazina taught musicianship at the North London Children's Conservatoire. Lazina has also enjoyed many years singing in choirs across Europe and conducting adult choirs in Rome and London.
