Researchers in Dr. Danielle King's Psychology Lab at Rice University are currently conducting a study to better understand the everyday experiences of working adults.

If you are at least 18 years old, a shift working employee, and live in the metropolitan Houston, TX area, you may be eligible to participate!

Participation involves a baseline online survey and training session, wearing a wrist-worn activity monitor for 4 weeks and a small chest-worn heart rate monitor for the first 3 weeks, and completing 3 short online surveys each day for 4 weeks.

Upon completion, you would receive $10-$175 in one Amazon, Uber Eats, or Ebay gift card, depending on the extent of your participation.

Researchers in Dr. Danielle King’s Psychology Lab at Rice University are currently conducting an online research study to better understand employees’ and their work leaders’ communication processes.

If you are a supervised employee and are at least 18 years of age or older, you may be eligible to participate! Participation involves: 1) completing two 10-minute online surveys about your work experiences and communication (one week after completing the screening survey below and then one month later); and 2) providing the contact information of your direct supervisor to also be invited to the research study.

Your answers in this study will remain confidential from your employee or supervisor; no personal data that you report will be shared with your employee or supervisor.

Upon completing the two 10-minute online surveys participants will receive a $10 Amazon gift card. Employees will also receive an additional $5 Amazon gift card if their supervisor completes the research study as well.

Researchers in Dr. Danielle King's Psychology Lab at Rice University are currently conducting a study to better understand the impact of COVID-19 on the workforce. If you are an employee who started telecommuting during the pandemic, and whose organization plans to return to in-person work arrangements (either full time or partially) over the next few months, we want to hear from you!

Hi all!

We are currently conducting a research study to examine experiences during the negotiation process through helping students practice their negotiation skills. We are looking for individuals who have worked as a hiring manager or a role similar to such. Thank you in advance for all of your help!
