Hello all!
I am going to try to be inclusive of all ages with this page.
I think I will try to do an art history post on Mondays, basically just snippets pulled from different sources that are interesting about the artist but appropriate for all ages. Tuesday through Thursday (there might not be posts everyday but some days could have several posts) at first will be various demos, online resources, projects, or reading books related to art, and on Fridays will be Vocab/Elements and Principles. As we get going, I’d like to make my own demonstrations (I need to set up some things at home to do that).
**More info about the art history posted:
The main image for the art history lesson will be primarily a general information of an artist provided. This will be mostly for middle/high school aged. The links provided are mostly for high school students/adults. I will pick out some artworks that are appropriate for elementary through high school students to see though. Many artists have done various studies of the human form, sometimes including n**e/partially n**e forms in their works. Some of the links that provide more in-depth information may include these artworks. A lot of works have biblical and mythological themes/symbolism.
As always if someone has a question or would like more resources or information on anything I post or if you have a suggestion of something you’d like to learn, I’ll see what I can do.
