Yes, teachers can technically use Gen AI to write learning skills for report cards. BUT... in my opinion, this is the most important part of the report card. The one official space where I can record the things that matter the most... and I want to write them myself.
As I'm writing them today, I'm reflecting on how they are really like a bit of a love letter to parents/guardians about how amazing their child is, the incredible growth I have witnessed, and the hopes I have for their child's future. Writing these is good medicine for my soul.
