SAVE THE DATE! On September 26th, The IDeaS Center along with Carnegie Mellon University Libraries will host Disinform.ed, CMU's first annual disinformation day! The purpose of Disinform.ed is to hold a media literacy event focused on increasing awareness about the nature of disinformation. Through presentations, panels demonstrations and interaction with students and faculty researching in this area, the community will learn the nature of disinformation, how it spreads, who spreads it, the consequences of such disinformation, and how it can be countered.
