Blue Planet Live lesson is a teacher's dream for a live interactive lesson. The lesson is a new and exciting way to learn, and keep children engaged and motivated as the term draws to a close!

Translanguaging professional development!

Just completed a enjoyable webinar about the integration of several different languages within one classroom setting. Translate between is a very useful classroom practice to research if you are working in in a school with children who are learning English as an additional language, or any other additional languages such as French and Spanish.

This well-structured seminar introduced
translanguaging - what it is is and why it is useful for developing an enriched learning environment;
Examples of translanguaging used in various subjects;
Using a cycle that supports the learning of knowledge, concepts and understanding while developing language and critical thinking skills;
Grouping students effectively to support language development;
Online learning for scaffolding, differentiation and assessment.

If you're a teacher in a multilingual setting or have EAL students - add translanguaging to stay up to date with practices that are developing a culture of developing language, understanding and skills!
