About Digital Preschool

HOW WAS THE PROGRAM CREATED?
The program was created for families who do not have access to preschool for their child. Very few states provide free preschool for all children. This program was created to provide your child with the same lessons they would learn in school but at home at a fraction of the cost.

CAN THIS BE USED PART TIME?
Yes! This program is intended to be used during the day but can be used for after school if needed.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I MISS A DAY?
As with regular school, try not to miss a day. If you do miss a day, check and see what was taught during Preschool at Home and try to squeeze in those extra activities to make up the day you missed.

WHERE DO I GET MY SUPPLIES?
I designed the program to try and use as many household items as possible. For the other supplies shop at the Digital Preschool store.

WHAT SHOULD I BE DOING TO SUPPORT MY CHILD?
Using this program is doing an excellent job of supporting your child. Preschool at Home is to be done as hands on as possible. As the parent you should be sitting doing each activity with your child. Not playing on your phone, interacting with them.

WHAT CURRICULUM DOES DIGITAL PRESCHOOL USE?
Digital Preschool uses its own curriculum designed based on what is taught both in Preschool and in Kindergarten. If used properly, your child should leave Digital Preschool ahead of where they are expected to be when they start Kindergarten.

CAN THIS BE USED FOR THREE YEAR OLDS?
Yes. If you use the program when your child is three years old, you should use the program again the following year when they are four. Three year olds really aren’t ready for everything taught in the program. To be sure they get everything out of the program, it is best to repeat it.

CAN I START IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YEAR?
​Yes you can. If you start in the middle of the year, your child will have missed important information taught early on in the program. To correct the missing information, go back and complete those months the following school year. If your child has already entered Kindergarten, make up the missing months in the Afterschool or weekend program.HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
This is an online preschool program. Each day you will receive an email with a real teacher teaching real lessons taught in Preschool. This program is not interactive nor is it a computer game. It is pre-filmed lessons with four mini lessons included for each day. All you have to do is play the video for your child on your tv, computer, iPad or phone. A book Preschool at Home was created to go with Digital Preschool which is your hands on learning activities.

HOW MANY PROGRAM DO YOU HAVE AND WHAT COMES WITH THE PROGRAMS?
Digital Toddlers- Ages 2-3 - $150 Monthly
What you get:2 specially designed learning activities for toddlers
1 five-minute video of a teacher teaching two short mini lessons.
Family Saturday’s – All Ages - $20 Monthly
What you get:Family friendly ideas for both during the day and the evening of your Saturday. Choose from three daily and two nighttime activities.
Evening Enrichment – Ages 2-5 - $100 Monthly
What you get:A document outlining three learning objectives and how to discuss/demonstrate them to your child. One activity to support learning.
For the busy working mom- only takes 30 minutes a day.
