Short Introduction of the Resource Person:
Tuba Kızılkan is an ELT Professional who has been teaching English to all age levels for about 22 years. She graduated from Ege University, English Language and Literature Department in 2000. She has also another Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in English Language teaching. She is also a Mind Mapping, Speed Reading and Memory techniques instructor and an NLP practitioner as well. She is focused on Linguistics, Neuroscience and Languages and has been conducting academic research on Linguistics, ELT, Mindmapping and Education. She has attended several webinars and international congresses as a presenter focusing on English Language Teaching Education, Linguistics, Speed Reading and Mind Mapping.

Short Introduction of the Resource Person:
Mrs. Anita Mangar holds an Honours Degree in English and a Masters in Education from the Open University of Mauritius. She has a wide range of experience in teaching English at different levels from school to University level. She is originally from Kolkata, but based in Mauritius. She has extensive certifications in the field of English - TEFL, TESOL, teaching IELTS, Technology enriched teaching and the place of music in 21st century Education to name a few. She has successfully conducted Teacher Training workshops and given international webinars. She is an American English eteacher and has recently been appointed as a Community Lead for the OPEN Community of Practice of English Teachers. Besides playing the piano, she also teaches music. Having an interest in Drama led to a Grade 6 certification in Speech and Drama from Trinity College London in 2021. She has her own blog called Anita’s Musings. She has had her articles published in newspapers and magazines. Has recently worked as a freelance Corporate English Trainer which involved teaching young adults. She is an enthusiastic, motivated, lifelong learner with a strong interest in positive psychology and youth empowerment. She has her own group on Facebook called English Teachers Mauritius.

Short Introduction of the Resource Person:
Dr Devina Krishna works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of English, Patna Women’s College, India. She earned her PhD in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, specializing in Phonetics and Phonology. Her main research interests revolve around phonetics, phonology, and language documentation. She presented her research on Lexical tones in Western Indo-Aryan languages at South Asian Language Analysis Roundtable-35 at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO), in Paris, France. She has been a frequent guest speaker at various international symposiums and language festivals. She is the editorial board member of Vivid: Journal of Language and Literature, an international peer-reviewed journal published by the English Department of Andalas University, Indonesia. She is also the editorial board member of JURNAL ARBITRER, an international peer-reviewed journal published by Universitas Andalas, Indonesia. She has been associated with the research methodology teaching programme at institutions abroad she has been affiliated with. The broad goal of her research is to uncover, analyse and preserve comprehensive linguistic data in prosody from speech communities within the Indian sub-continent.

Short Introduction of the Speaker:
Dr. Farzana Yesmen Chowdhury is an Associate Professor in Applied Linguistics and TESOL studies at the Institute of Modern Languages, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. She was awarded her PhD in Sociolinguistics, Intercultural and Cultural Studies from the University of Queensland, Australia with an Australian Government Scholarship. She also completed the Master of Applied Linguistics in TESOL Studies from the University of Queensland, Australia with high distinctions. She has authored articles in renowned international applied linguistics and sociolinguistics journals. Dr Farzana Chowdhury has presented her research papers at international conferences and symposiums held in different parts of the world i.e. Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the Czech Republic, and Hong Kong. Dr Farzana Chowdhury is a social science researcher with a keen interest in various aspects of Applied Linguistics, English language teaching, Intercultural studies, Sociolinguistics and Cultural studies namely language and identity, indigenous languages, language policy and planning including family language policy, multilingualism, acculturation and wellbeing.
