🚨The E-Waste Scholarship is due April 30, 2023!! Open to all HS students.
Each year there are 20 to 50 million tons of e-waste discarded in the world. E-waste contains toxic materials, including heavy metals, that can easily seep into the ground and ultimately get into groundwater supplies. According to the EPA, recycling e-waste allows more than 100 million pounds of materials to be reused annually. The purpose of this scholarship is to help you understand the impact of e-waste and what can be done to reduce e-waste.

🚨The Carson Scholars Fund is now accepting nominations. If you’re interested, reach out to your counselor ASAP!
The Carson Scholars Fund awards $1,000 college scholarships to students in grades 4-11 who excel academically and are dedicated to serving their communities. Scholarship winners receive the honor of being named “Carson Scholars” and are awarded an Olympic-sized medal and a trophy for their school to celebrate their accomplishments. Previous winners of Carson Scholarships are eligible to reapply for Carson Scholar Recognition annually – please visit the Current Scholar page for more information.
Students must attend an accredited K-12 school in the United States. An interested student must be nominated by an educator at his or her school to be able to compete for a Carson Scholarship. Only one student from each school is able to apply, ensuring that each nominee epitomizes academic excellence. Carson Scholars must have a minimum GPA of 3.75 and display humanitarian qualities through community service. Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of academic achievement and humanitarian qualities, without regard to financial need, ethnicity, creed or religion.

Submit a video (2 minutes or less in length) that addresses these questions:
What is your passion and how are you currently pursuing it?
How do you plan to use your passion to uniquely make a positive change in your community or the world?
How will your education help enable you to pursue your passion and make a change?
Your submission video must be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes in length. Think about filming this video on a phone, computer, tablet, or any other MP4 video-enabled camera to which you have access. It could be a short film, animation, or a simple testimonial. This isn’t about how well you can make a film—we want to learn more about you, your passion and how you plan to ignite change in your community and beyond!

Today the Armor & Propel Project hosted its first College Preparation Conference for high school first generation students!
The participants were on point, asked a lot of great questions and have such a bright future! We are soooo excited!!!
