If I was about to start again as a Yoga teacher that wants to be strong, I’d practice these 3 :

1️⃣ OVERHEAD PULLS
Almost everything in yoga is more of a Pushing movement, as there is no resistance to pull with.
✅Incorporate lat pulling movements, dead hangs & resistance bands.

2️⃣SINGLE ARM EXERCISES
A lot of yoga practicioners miss the upper body strength, because their focus is mostly on stretching & flexibility, rather than bulletproofing the joints.
✅Stability in your shoulders is one of the skills you will always need. Start with single arm side planks & progress from there.

3️⃣CORE & GLUTES
Healthy joints are ones that are strong, mobile & stabile. Your core (strength) is responsible to keeping your spine safe no matter to which side you bend.
Glute strength is is your the key 🔑 factor of stability in any single-legged standing pose.
✅ Practice weighted hip thrusts, bridges & hollow hold variations.
