Today was my last day as music teacher at Hinton Elementary. Thank you all for sharing your children with me. It’s been a joy to share my love of music with them and watch them grow as young musicians. I hope they continue in music, and I wish you all the very best! ❤️🎶

You've been asking, so we're opening up registration for our Youth Theatre Summer Camp... EARLY!! 🥳

This summer we will be performing Beat by Beat Press' production of The CLAW:

"When an out-of-order claw game suddenly turns back on, all of the toys are ecstatic! Well… all of the toys except for Dot, a terrified stuffed cow. Dot’s desperate to hold onto her home and her best friend, Aiden. Can Dot conquer her fear of the unknown with some help from the Flair Bears, Mighty Mutant Power Turtles, Beanie Elders, and the all-knowing Mystical 8-ball?"

Come join the fun during this 2-week summer camp! Here are the details:

Dates: June 17th-28th
Time: 8am-11am
Grades: 1st-8th
Price: $155

Throughout the two weeks, students will be learning and rehearsing The CLAW as well as participating in theatre activities, games, lessons, and crafts! Performance will be held on June 28th!

For the first time in 19 years, I missed a concert last night due to illness. 😢 I was so sad to miss the 4-6 concert, but Mr. Rusche was available to take over for me and I know everything went great! I am grateful to work with staff and students who are flexible and ready to work hard to make our concert a success. Thank you to everyone for coming and supporting our young Hinton musicians!

Kindergarten practiced clapping rhythms using the syllables of the colors of the leaves! They also practiced coloring and recognizing color words. They did a great job! 🍁
