As a council, MAC serves as a platform for students from diverse backgrounds to come together and celebrate their cultural heritage.

MAC organizes various events, activities, and initiatives throughout the academic year, including cultural festivals, workshops, and guest speaker presentations. These events aim to foster a sense of community and appreciation for different cultures and traditions among UHV students.

Some unfortunate news. Our Zumba Dance Party event that was going to be held tonight is now cancelled.

Our instructors were no longer available, but we will try to postpone for a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Celebrate Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon with us this Friday! MAC will be handing out free giveaways including plushies, while supplies last! We’re also partnering with the Dining Hall, who will have a Chinese inspired menu for lunch. 🇨🇳🐉

TODAY! You can paint, draw or color your own artwork. Use your cultural background as inspiration, such as your family, favorite music, food, or anything that represents you! 🖼🎨

We’ll have free art supplies but you’re welcome to bring your own as well. We’ll also have free snacks and refreshments! We hope to see you there!

Celebrate First Gen Day with MAC at our “I Am First” Celebration on Wed., Nov. 8 from 7-9pm in the University Commons, MPR.

We’ll have free food, giveaways and a photo booth! Also, for those who ordered a first-gen graduation cord, you can pick it early at the event!

Then share your favorite scary stories! You can read a story, share a personal story, or show your favorite scary video!

We’ll have free refreshments including s’mores, caramel apples, hot chocolate bar and more! Bring your own blankets and pillows and wear your pajamas! It’s going to be a fun and spooky night! 👻
