Adam and Dylan finished their season today with a great win. They had to qualify earlier in the year with a second place finish in the Indy fishing league high school tournament to be able to fish today. Today they placed 1st in the indy fishing league state tournament and each won a 1000.00 scholarship. They have been close all year to the top and have really practiced a lot to make this happen. Big thanks to their captain for all of his time put into this program. Also a huge shout out to all of our sponsors this year to help them out. Fishing is not a cheap sport and every little bit helps to have a successful season. Thank you to everyone that has supported Brownsburg High School Fishing Club.

Here is how we as a team did this year and some pics. For the flw tournament we did great on Brookville. Tanner and Charles placed 3rd, Dylan and Adam finished 9th. Tanner and Charles qualified for nationals here.
Nationals: Tanner and Charles fished three days. They did well on first day and placed in top 40 of 250. Second day was a struggle that put them in loser bracket. They finished the third day strong in top 40 of loser bracket. Such an amazing experience for them!
The last two tournaments got a little hectic with Monroe cancelling the venue last minute. They had to cut the field, so most of our teams couldn't fish the state finals.
We had an amazing turnout for our first annual fishing club camp, and a lot of kids came out and learned how to fish.
Our junior team of Aiden and Logan placed 14th in the junior state tournament.
State finals was today at Racoon. The best 50 teams in the state (of 250 total teams) and our boys, Adam and Dylan, placed third. Such an amazing group of boys this year!
Congrats to all of their efforts and a huge shout out goes out to the the town of Brownsburg, the school, and the local businesses that have sponsored us this year. We truly couldn't have done it without everyone's help. Thanks to all the captains that have helped out by driving their trucks, using their boats, and volunteering their time. Thanks to all of the sponsors that have helped us out this season. Looking forward to next year!

We had a great turnout this week at camp. 15 kids learned ways to catch fish, use their own rods, cast different types of poles and finished it off in a tournament today. Thanks to all of our sponsors that help make this happen. Here are some pics from the event.

These 2 just qualified for the high school national tournament in alabama this weekend by placing 3rd in the state. Pretty great accomplishment for our small club. The cost of this tournament is large with hotel and gas there, back, and boat gas. If anyone is willing to help donate for their cause please pm me a message so we can help send them to alabama.
We are having a fishing club camp for elementary kids this summer June 12, 13, 14. 40.00 per kid and we. Are only taking first 40 kids to register. Click attached flyer for more information.

BROWNSBURG PLACES 5TH AS A TEAM! Great ending to this year. Charles and Tanner placed 8th in the state. I am not sure what teams place was but it was up there. We handed out team awards. Tanner and Charles were mvp, most consistant was Eric and Grant, and sportsmanship went to Adam. Solid group of guys here, sad that some were seniors. Time to start preparing for next year. Thanks to all of our sponsors that have helped us this year and a very special thanks to all the boat captains. This sport is impossible to do without them.
Team is currently on the water at lake monroe for our final fishing of the year. Looking to bring in some big ones for the state Indiana state championship. Pictures to follow!

We've also posted a document with some important info regarding Monroe such as check-in table times, flight times, boat captain rules, and more.
If you are wondering about qualifying for Nationals, there's another document that outlines how we will determine our spots.
