3D-ReMath was not only an Erasmus+ project, it was the beginning of a frendship between 4 partners: 2nd Primary School of Chios, Agrupamento de Escolas de Marrazes, Comprensivo de Sarzana (ISA13) and University of the Aegean.

"3D-ReMath" announces the 1st International Conference at 3D Printing on Education entitled “Overcoming learning disabilities using technology and ecology”.

The Conference will be run as hybrid event on 30.09.2021

The goal of the conference is to provide a virtual floor to researchers, academics, students and other professionals to present their research work concerning Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics and especially on implementation of 3D printing on educational programs.

Authors are invited to submit an abstract/s of 500 words until 10th of September 2021. The abstract should be submitted as a word text at [email protected]

Our school 3D-printers worked continuously for the first 3 weeks of June. Students and teachers were sketching, creating. printing colored geometric 3D shapes. The best way to approαch STEREOMETRY!!

Erasmus project: Pupils of Sarzana taking a lesson in recycling

They recovered household items and toys that they no longer used. They learned and studied the technique to print them in 3 dimensions.
And at the same time they have learned to recycle plastic materials that are no longer usable: when distance learning produces very positive effects.
To benefit from these new learning techniques in hitherto unexplored areas, were 6 classes of primary school and 3 classes of Poggi Carducci secondary school (about 200 children), according to the initiative of the director of ISA 13, Antonio Fini.
"We are involved in the European project Erasmus Plus KA2 - 3D ReMath - explains Fini, a strategic partnership between the University of the Aegean based in the Greek Chios and its second primary school, together with the Agrupamento de Escolas de Marrazes of Portugal. The main goal of the project is to help students better understand mathematics and become familiar with 3D printing technology and the household waste recycling procedure”. The partners discussed the results of the first pupil training activity held between November and December 2020. All students participated in theoretical and practical activities related to the topics developed by the project: mathematics, environment (recycling and waste management) and 3D printing.
Furthermore, from 23 to 26 March, the teachers involved in the project faced the last round of training on 3D printers, mathematics and waste management, thanks to which it will be possible to organize further activities and paths to develop the main themes, activities which will involve the students in the months of April and May.

4º Encontro Transnacional do Projeto Erasmus + “A tecnologia de impressão 3D ajuda os alunos a entender melhor a matemática e os procedimentos de reciclagem” (3D-ReMath)

O Agrupamento de Escolas de Marrazes é uma das organizações que participa e desenvolve o projeto 3D-ReMath, financiado pelo Programa Erasmus+, no âmbito de um consórcio de instituições educacionais de três países europeus: Portugal, Grécia e Itália. Este projeto tem como objetivo ajudar os alunos a entender melhor a matemática, aumentar a sua consciência ambiental e aumentar o seu interesse pela cultura, através do uso de tecnologias e aplicações inovadoras.

Na sexta-feira, dia 26 de fevereiro de 2021, realizou-se, através de videoconferência, o 4º Encontro Internacional do Projeto.
Este encontro, organizado pela 2ª Escola Primária de Chios, contou com a presença de equipas dos estabelecimentos de educação de Itália (ISA13 Istituto Comprensivo Sarzana), de Portugal (Agrupamento de Escolas de Marrazes), bem como da Universidade do Egeu que coordena este Projeto Erasmus +.
Durante o encontro, foram apresentados os resultados das atividades educativas desenvolvidas por cada escola parceira.
Em particular, cada escola apresentou e discutiu os resultados detalhados:
• Da 1ª Ronda de Atividades Educativas relacionadas com Matemática, Impressão 3D e Reciclagem;
• As considerações e reflexões dos alunos e professores.
A Universidade do Egeu apresentou:
• O Currículo para a 3ª fase de implementação das Atividades Educativas;
• Os resultados e conclusões da Avaliação das Atividades Educativas, na qual participaram alunos e professores;
• O plano anual das ações de disseminação e divulgação
ações de disseminação e divulgação do projeto e ainda o plano de organização da próxima conferência internacional a realizar em setembro de 2021;
• O progresso do plano financeiro do Projeto.
Este encontro foi fundamental para que todos os parceiros pudessem encontrar um ritmo comum em termos de implementação paralela das atividades educativas, nos três países, bem como para destacar a contribuição individual das escolas na concretização dos objetivos do Projeto.
