Create a free account at www.modernstates.org.
Choose the course you want to test out of. (eg: Spanish, Precalculus, College Composition, etc.)
Progress through the course. (Even if you’re already bilingual and “taking” the Spanish course.)
Request a voucher to have your CLEP test paid for. Modern States is paying the $87 test fee and scheduling fee for students who enroll in the courses and take the exams.
Go to https://modernstates.org/freshman-year-free/ to see the list of possible test options.
Click on the “CLEP Voucher Request Form” link on that website. (https://modernstates.org/clep-voucher-request/)
You will need to provide a screenshot as proof of progress through Modern States or edX.org course in that testing area.

Enrichment opportunity offered to Cohort 9 ASAP Smith Family Scholars. A short film by Marcella Ochoa highlighting Mexican Americans and their experience regarding the loss of their culture through what's known as the "Americanization" process. Great discussion follow and "Thank you" to Purdue's Latino Cultural Center for hosting the event!
