Huge shout out to FFA members Peyton and Katelin for participating in the NC State Leap for Sheep program. What an awesome job they have done. Peyton has been with these sheep everyday from day one. They had great classes and did really well for their first time showing in a big show. Thankful for this program and for allowing us to take part. The start of great things for Vance Charter FFA.

Hi, my name is Cheyanne Burroughs. I am serving as the 2025 secretary. I am from henderson, NC, and am a sophomore, soon to be a junior at vance charter school. I live with my mom, dad, brother and sister who is finishing up her years as president to go to NCSU. My favorite competition I've competed in was hunter safety and I look forward to keep doing it throughout the years. My plan for this year is to strive to help others grow in their knowledge of FFA and to encourage more people to want to learn aswell.
Hey y'all! My name is Katelin, I play softball and I am a jr firefighter as well. I love to be outside and around animals. I'm thrilled to be serving as your FFA treasurer for the 2nd year in a row!! As the treasurer, I'm not only committed to managing our chapter's finances but also dedicated to serving our community and supporting our members. I believe that the heart of FFA lies in our connection with the community and the growth of each individual member. Together, let's make a positive impact, both within our FFA chapter and beyond, as we strive for excellence in all that we do!
I’m Peyton Minish and I’m this upcoming year’s Co-Vice President. I enjoy working with others and helping them whenever it is needed which is why I decided to become an officer. I plan to help our chapter grow and encourage members to participate in events to help them grow as individuals! There is something for everyone in FFA because of all the different opportunities it provides and all the doors it opens up. I am extremely excited to work with my other officers and plan some great things for y’all this year!
Meet your officers 2024-2025! 🩵💛

Vance Charter FFA is kicking off a service project with a great cause. The crayon initiative takes old crayons and repurposes them for patients in the hospital. This only requires you to empty out your broken, unwanted or melted crayons in one of our boxes around campus. We will take care of the rest. Help us help others. Living to serve the ffa way. Crayons will be collected the rest of March and even at our Quarter Auction this Friday night. Thank you.
Vance Charter Hunter Saftey showed up this weekend. Junior Team took 2nd place shotgun and 2nd place hunter skills. Benjamin Radford took first place individual archery. Super proud of these kiddos and glad that they enjoy shooting sports. We had a few bumps along the day but overall a great day. Huge shout out to our supportive parents, the people at Charlie Brown Gun Club and the coaching staff.
Spending time at the barn.
FFA competes in a ton of contests and community service but we also take time to enjoy fellowship with other members. Bowling was on the agenda for this month.
