Let's remember to always give thanks to the Lord each day,

Luke 10:41: "But the Lord answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are distracted and disturbed about many;"

BCF Comments: "Give attention to the last part of the verse. We all are distracted about many things to do; but one thing all humans should think first, give thanks to the Lord and look for the way that you can serve the Lord, both physical and spiritual, in moments when you cannot do physical for the Lord then you can glorify the Lord with all your heart."

Matthew 4 | Bible Commentary Forever 16/05/2024

Jesus knows all about our struggles, He's a friend you can call on in prayer- He has the answers:

Matthew 4:1: "At that time Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil."

Comments Matthew 4:1: "Jesus was one hundred percent human. Temptation comes to everyone. Jesus was led by the Spirit to be tempted as every human would be, so He is an example for us of how to overcome temptation."

Matthew 4 | Bible Commentary Forever In Chapter 4, our Lord Jesus is tempted by the devil. As a man, Jesus goes through three major temptations: The temptations of the flesh, of pride, and of easy life and laziness. Jesus begins His ministry and fulfills one of Isaiah's prophesies.

A very simple and relatable statement, regarding the humanity of Mary, the mother of Jesus:

John 2:3, "And when the wine failed short, the mother of Jesus says to Him, They have no wine."

Comments John 2:3, "The mother of the Lord is a common woman, and she makes herself being busy for someone else. People interpret in many ways, but the mother of the Lord just liked to be involved here."

"The Father's love for the world He created is so great that He sent His beloved Son to earth to show us the way,"

Matthew 3:1-2: "Then in those days comes John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, Repent; for the kingdom of the heavens has come near."

BCF Comments: John is a messenger of the Lord. John warns people to come to the Lord and repent; come to Jesus is his message. The Father's love for the world He created is so great that He sent His beloved Son to earth to show us the way. Jesus opened the gate of the heavens; believe and come to Him.

Matthew 23 | Bible Commentary Forever 16/12/2023

"The Father of your Soul"

Matthew 23:9: "And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your Father, even He who is in heaven."

BCF Comments: "The Father discussed in this portion of Scripture is not about the Father of the human body. The Father of the soul, this passage is calling, the Father of your soul, not of the physical body. Because the soul comes from the Father, He is the Father of your soul."

John 1 | Bible Commentary Forever 07/12/2022

Our God is the Three in One God,

John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Bible Commentary Forever: "This verse tells all readers that in the beginning, the Three in One already existed before all things were created, and here is the place we can notice. The “Word” here in this verse refers to both Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and God refers to God the Father because here it tells us about the Trinity of God. We can imagine in this way as well, God the Father is so big that God the Son and the Holy Spirit are in Him, and all Three are tangled together, cannot be separated, but each of the Three has His own duty as well..."

Matthew 9 | Bible Commentary Forever 20/11/2022

The Lord Jesus has the authority to forgive sins, and the power to heal the body. Praise the Lord!

Matthew 9:2, "And behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said to the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven."

Bible Commentary Forever: "The Lord saw the faith in this man. His heart was searching for the Lord, not for healing. He came to worship the Lord. The Lord showed him mercy according to his heart. Forgiveness of sins and healing was given."

Matthew 9 | Bible Commentary Forever

Jesus forgives all our sins

Luke 7:48: "And He said to her, Your sins are forgiven."

Bible Commentary Forever: "This woman has come to the Lord with a humble heart, and recognized who the Lord is for her. She accepts in her heart that the Lord is the One that has authority in forgiving her sins and her sins are forgiven as this verse says."

Searching for a mistake versus searching to help a brother in faith...

"And why behold you the chip that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye?" Luke 16:41

Bible Commentary Forever: "When we can see someone else's fault even though that fault is small and done in secret, but we find out, we act like the most selfish humans that search for someone else's mistake, but this someone is our own brother in faith; so, look for helping not to find fault for your brother."

To hunger for the Word of God, and weep for the lost souls...

Luke 6:21 "Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be filled. Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh."

Bible Commentary Forever: "Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be filled". In this place, hunger is hunger for knowledge to understand the Word that the Lord is teaching; and when you are hungry for the Word the Lord will give understanding to fill up the empty shell you have.
"Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh". Pay attention here, to weep for what? When you weep for those that ignore the Lord's teaching, when the end time comes, you will laugh for joy, because your weeping has made those you wept for to turn and caused them to be saved, that is why you will laugh for joy. The point here is that we should weep for the lost and pray for them."

Seeking to glorify God at all times...

John 4:23, "But a time is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; and indeed, the Father seeks such as these to worship Him."

Bible Commentary Forever: "...“and indeed, the Father seeks such as these to worship Him.” The Father Himself seeks the persons who have true faith and true feeling in seeking and being aware of themselves at all times how to glorify the God Most High. That is what the Father is seeking."

Our Lord Jesus knows everything about us and sees everything. Yet He loves us and wants us to know Him; He is merciful.

John 4:17-18 "The woman answered and said to Him, I have no husband. Jesus says to her, You said rightly, I have no husband;
for you have had five husbands, and he whom you now have is not your husband; this you have spoken truly."

Bible Commentary Forever (v18): "This verse shows clearly that the beloved Son of God knows everyone, He knows them until the core; the Lord has not met this woman yet, but He knows who she is and that had been told to all readers here, that the beloved Son of God has full knowledge about everyone on earth."

17/03/2022

Jesus offers us an eternally satisfying water.

John 4:14, "but whoever may drink from the water that I will give him will never thirst to eternity; but rather, the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.

Bible Commentary Forever: “but whoever may drink … to eternity”; The beloved Son has told the truth to the woman; the water that the Lord will give is the water for the soul, which is the beloved Son’s teaching; His teaching is that water.
“but rather, the water … to eternal life”; When the teaching of the beloved Son of God enters into your heart, it will keep flowing nonstop, even you sleep or are awake; the living water will always be at work in you if you have taken His teaching and practice it, following with all your heart, and with no doubt and no waver. The living word of the beloved Son of God is the living water; the word of the beloved Son of God has power and will never stop flowing in all the hearts that have faith in Him.

What a blessing to read and meditate on the Word of God.

Matthew 4:4 "But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."

Bible Commentary Forever: "Food for the soul is more important than food for the stomach."

John the Baptist prophesies about Jesus coming, and about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:11 "I indeed baptize you in water to repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:"

Bible Commentary Forever: "The sin cannot be where the Holy Spirit is. Therefore, when we are baptized by the Holy Spirit, the sin in us will be burned by the holy fire (pure fire) of the Lord that cleanses our soul."

09/02/2022

John the Baptist gave a Gospel call. Come to the Saviour Jesus, believe in Him.

Matthew 3:1-2: "And in those days comes John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying,
Repent; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Bible Commentary Forever: "John is a messenger of the Lord. John warns people to come to the Lord and repent; come to Jesus is his message. The Father's love for the world He created is so great that He sent His Son to us to show us the way. Jesus opened the gate of heaven; just believe and come to Him."

Luke 17 | Bible Commentary Forever 24/01/2022

The Lord has mercy on us and answers all of our prayers. Remember the God who loves you, and turn back with thanksgiving and praise ❤️

Luke 17:15-16: "And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God; and he fell on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks; and he was a Samaritan."

Bible Commentary Forever: "...But this is the point everyone should take as an example: when you receive mercy, come back and give thanks to the Lord. This has been given as an example to all, in all things glorify and give thanks to the Lord God Almighty, regardless of who you are."

Luke 17 | Bible Commentary Forever

05/01/2022

This is a simple verse with a deep meaning. Jesus wants to spread out His mercy and help to all people.

Luke 17:11 "And it came to pass, in His going on to Jerusalem, that He was passing along the borders between Samaria and Galilee."

Bible Commentary Forever: "In this verse, we can see that the beloved Son of God is traveling all the time, because His duty is to spread out the mercy of God to all people, not only to His own people and not just in one spot for one group of people, but to all."

Luke 17 | Bible Commentary Forever 16/12/2021

An encouragement to have more faith in the Lord!

Luke 17:5 "And the apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith."

Bible Commentary Forever: "In this verse, it tells clearly, these are the apostles that have been with the Lord, have seen miracles, have heard the Living Word, and they are still asking the Lord of Life to increase their faith. For all that come after, which have not seen the Lord, it will be harder to have faith, but still remember, go at the foot of the cross and ask for faith, as the apostles have done in the past."

Luke 17 | Bible Commentary Forever

Bible Commentary Forever 02/12/2021

In the parable of the prodigal son, the lost son was found and received, but his older brother was far out in the field. He wasn't necessarily doing anything sinful, but we know he was far away from his Father. Let us pray that our love for our Father in Heaven is reignited, and let us not let our hearts grow cold towards Him.

Luke 15:25: "Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing."

Bible Commentary Forever: "Now his elder son was in the field". The older son here relates to all the believers that have gone astray into the world of living but did not deny the Lord; they just tangled themselves with pleasures of the world, wasting time and lacking meditation..."

There is hope for us who have lost our way, if we repent and turn to the Lord. Darkness turns to light, and there is joy!

Luke 15:24 "For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry."

Bible Commentary Forever: "The verse tells clearly, the lost child that was dead in the eyes of the heavenly hosts has become alive with all the blessings from the Father Himself. This child was lost and now came home, and all the heavenly hosts will come and rejoice in this child. All the children of humans that go astray and repent will come home to the Lord......"

The Lord is so merciful to us. The Lord gave us a treasure, His Word.

Luke 15:13 "And not many days after, the younger son gathered all that he had and took his journey into a far country; and there he wasted his property with riotous living."

Bible Commentary Forever: "As the verse tells, this what he has spent it was not his from the beginning, the way he uses his property is the same as many Christians nowadays, they do not use the gift the Lord has given them in a proper way. Look at this young man spending all the inheritance, but he did not spend time thinking of his father who gave him the inheritance, the same way as many Christians are doing with the gifts that the Lord has given. The gift of the Lord is not treasure of this earth, love reading the Word, try to understand the Word, meditate and think about the beloved Son of God, before you follow the world, think of the One that shed His blood for you, and cleansed you until you are fit to meet with the Father."

Luke 15:8 "Or what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she loses one piece, does not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek diligently until she finds it?"

Bible Commentary Forever: "...In this verse the Lord gives this woman, a human, which has been searching for her lost coin that is of lesser value. With the love the Lord has for all His children, think of how much more the Lord will search for His lost children, He will search for them, and when He finds them He will rejoice more than this woman does when she finds her lost coin."

The Lord Jesus is calling all sinners to Himself to save them. Let us sinners go to Him today and every day.

Luke 15:1 "Now all the tax collectors and sinners were drawing near unto Him to hear Him."

Bible Commentary Forever: "The verse tells the purpose of the beloved Son of God coming on earth. As His Word comes out, He draws the sinners to come and be saved. The purpose of speaking the Living Word from His mouth is to save all sinners, come close to Him and hear His voice and all of you will be saved."

Jesus is our example in everything. Let us be encouraged and work heartily at whatever the Lord has given us to do!

"Is not this the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? and are not His sisters here with us? And they were offended in Him." Mark 6:3

Bible Commentary Forever: "This verse shows that Jesus is a carpenter because Joseph is a carpenter (See Matthew 13:55) and that is why He got the same trade as His earthly caretaker. Jesus worked as a carpenter with Joseph before He started His ministry on earth, and people in His hometown know Him as a carpenter. Jesus worked with His hands and this is an example for humans. If the Lord has worked with His hands why humans try to find the way not to work, but see the sample, the Son of God is a carpenter by trade. (See Comments Matthew 13:54-56)."

Where do you turn when your heart is heavy? Do you come to the Lord? This passage is somewhere I turn to when I need refreshing.

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Bible Commentary Forever (Matthew 11:28c):
Come to Jesus and stay under His blood, and you will find peace and rest for your soul.

Life is full of beautiful, quiet moments when we pause to pray, sing, and glorify the Lord! This comment highlights a quiet verse within the bigger passage.

Matthew 26:30:
And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the mount of Olives.

Bible Commentary Forever: This shows the way we should do, sing hymns to glorify the Lord not songs of the world, but songs to glorify the Lord. The Mount of Olives is the place, the Lord always goes there to glorify the Father. This is the personal time between the Father and the Son to have a conversation. The Lord always finds time to be with the Father as all believers should find time to be in prayer. Glorify with your words and a heart that is singing, that voice goes loud, all believers should do as the Lord has been an example, singing and praying. In the Bible it mentions in many places about the Lord praying. If the Lord prays, how come humans do not do it? We have an example in the Bible, do so as a believer and follower of the Lord.

May your heart glorify the Lord today!

Matthew 26:6-7, 13
Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the l***r, there came unto Him a woman having an alabaster earthenware pot of exceeding precious ointment, and she poured it upon His head, as He sat at the table...Truly I say to you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, that also which this woman has done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
