“Centering Blackness in Social Work: From Coping to Afrofuturism”

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for the attendance and active participation of everyone at the "Centering Blackness in Social Work: From Coping to Afrofuturism" Black History Month event.

The panel of Black leaders who spoke at the event brought an important perspective to the topic of holistic healing within the community and how it can inform social work practices.
Their wealth of knowledge and expertise was truly inspiring, and we hope that the insights gained from the discussion will serve to inform and enhance social work practice. Thank you panelists for taking the time to participate in the event and for your willingness to share your expertise and insights

To all those who attended in-person and online, thank you for taking the time to attend the event. Your presence helped to make this event a success, and we appreciate your contribution to the conversation.

We are proud to be black, and we are proud to invest in our community!
