Returning for his fourth year as director of JDU is AJ Brendel! AJ is a Past State Master Councilor of Minnesota DeMolay, and has been a member of DeMolay and Squires for 11 years. AJ has worked alongside a group of hardworking staff to make sure is the best one yet!
Jacques DeMolay University
Jacques DeMolay University is the official leadership conference of Region 5 DeMolay and Minnesota Job's Daughters.
Over 100 attendees and dedicated staff from around the country gather each year to teach leadership skills and valuable life lessons.
This years JDU will welcome Brother Cameron Weaver back as a staff member! Cameron is the State Master Councilor of Iowa DeMolay and the Membership Services Assistant for DeMolay International. This will be Cameron's second year at the conference, and he is on staff as the Track 2 director, responsible for all of our Senior students and their classes. Welcome Cameron!
This year we are fortunate to have Brother Tyler Moyer on our staff, who signed on as our Program Director! Tyler is the State Master Councilor of Pennsylvania DeMolay. He has been a member of DeMolay for almost 9 years, and is attending JDU for his first year.
Tyler will be working with each of our Track Directors and Class Instructors to develop the curriculum that we will be using for the next several years at JDU. We are fortunate to have such a hard worker on our team!

Returning to for a second year on staff is Brandon Stewart!
Brandon is the State Master Councilor of Michigan DeMolay, and has been involved in DeMolay for 10 years, with 3 spent as a squire.
At JDU 2018, Brandon was a class instructor, and this year he has stepped up to the role of Track 1 Director, working with our instructors to develop curriculum and interact with our 1st and 2nd year JDU students. Welcome back Brandon!
We are lucky to have Dane Banks returning to JDU for his second year on staff! (and fourth year at the conference)
Dane is a Past State Master Councilor of Minnesota DeMolay, Chevalier, and is currently serving a term as Master Councilor of Duluth Chapter. He works on the MN DeMolay State Staff as the athletics director, and was recently announced as one of the 2019 DeMolay International interns!
Dane will be the Activities Director for ensuring that all athletic activities, and leadership workshop activities are planned an executed to perfection. Welcome back Dane!
We are excited to welcome Sarah Leeper to the Jacques DeMolay University staff this year!
Sarah has been involved in Job’s Daughters as a member for 10 years and has been an adult volunteer for the past two years. She served as Miss International Job’s Daughter 2015-2016, and is a Past Honored Queen and Majority Member of Bethel #15 in Fremont, Nebraska. Nowadays she spends her time pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Business while traveling the country as a Youth Motivational Speaker.

We are excited to welcome Chris Heinrich from Kentucky back to the JDU team. Chris is a Past State Master Councilor of Kentucky DeMolay, Chevalier, DeMolay International DeMolay of the Year, and 8 year member of DeMolay. He will be returning to JDU for his second year working as the director of the Jurisdictional Officer track!
