Happy Friday – we’re a little over halfway through the week.

Now you might be thinking, “Grant it's FRIDAY! We’re more than halfway through the week!”

I’m not talking about that Monday to Friday lifestyle… Saturday and Sunday are just as valuable to you as any other day.

If you want to 10X your life and your income you can't let your foot off the gas just because it’s the weekend. Use the time you have wisely.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

A lot of people don’t use all 7 days. They’re on the clock Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day – not one second more.

And those are usually the types of people who say stuff like “oh, such and such a thing is more than 10 years away.”

They don’t maximize their time, so they don’t know what’s possible.

If anyone says something like that, what they’re really saying is they don’t even know if that thing is possible.

“Flying cars are still more than 10 years away.”

Translation: Flying cars may never happen.

If any of your dreams are more than 10 years out, what you’re really saying is YOU don’t know if it’s possible.

Shorten the time cycle.

Don’t make any goal longer than 10 years.
Make your big goal for 90 days, 12 months, 3 years, or at most 5 years.
Anything beyond 5 years and you’re getting too distant.

Life is too short for that.

Consider that even John F. Kennedy spoke in 1961 and told the nation that he was committed to landing a man on the moon before the end of the decade.

By 1969 they did it.

This just goes to show that WHATEVER IS POSSIBLE, you can achieve within a decade as long as you put enough energy, focus, and actions towards it.

Here’s what JFK said in his famous speech in 1961:

“I believe we possess all the resources and talents necessary. But the facts of the matter are that we have never made the national decisions or marshaled the national resources required for such leadership. We have never specified long-range goals on an urgent time schedule, or managed our resources and our time so as to insure their fulfillment.”

JFK also said:

“There is no sense in agreeing or desiring that the United States take an affirmative position in outer space, unless we are prepared to do the work and bear the burdens to make it successful.”

Don’t be making wild goals without commitment, you’ll give up on them quickly when difficulties come.

What are you racing towards in the 2020s?

Forget about the 2030s, what are you going to do THIS DECADE?

Make your goals HUGE, and commit to them now.

Dreams do happen — but you must move towards them.

Be Great,

Grant

Happy Wednesday — One day into the week… How are you faring?

Did you set any goals for the day? For the week?

I talk a lot about goal setting… Doing it every morning, religiously, without fail.

How do you define success?

Is it the number of zeros in your bank account?

Being TikTok famous, having a family, developing yourself?

Is it having a million followers on social media?

Maybe it’s helping starving children or building homes…

I want to know… Reply to this email and tell me how YOU define success in your life.

Regardless of how you define success, it all comes down to one thing:

Repetition.

You must continue taking the same actions repeatedly until they become habits. Once you have those habits ingrained, success will come naturally.

Real POWER only comes from repeating ACTIONS.

It’s not an easy thing to do. You’ll get bored, and you’ll want to give up. You’ll question whether or not it’s worth it...

But if you can push through those tough times and keep going, eventually, it will become second nature, and success will be yours.

Think about it this way. Would you rather have a one-time lottery win of $1 million? Or a dollar that doubles or triples every day for the rest of your life?

The answer is obvious, yet so many people choose the former. They want a quick and easy way to succeed without putting in any work.

But that’s not how success works.

>> The 10X Rule to Success

You need to put in the time and effort day in and day out to see results. There are no shortcuts to success.

I’ve spent my entire life studying successful people and figuring out the key to their wealth and how they managed to do it — some faster than others. I talk more about this in my book, The 10X Rule.

The one commonality was repetition.

Every day, I ask my sales team to role-play to prepare for their sales calls for the day.

They do this for 24 minutes every morning, without fail. They practice phone conversations and overcoming objections until it’s second nature.

This is the power of repetition.

Any successful person will tell you this.

Athletes don’t get to compete in the Olympics unless they practice their performance repeatedly.

Singers don’t just practice vocal training once and then perform; they get better and improve over time.

You can’t be good at something without repetition. It’s the same with business. To achieve success, you need to keep taking action — even when you don’t feel like it or see results.

The bottom line is — if you want to be successful, start by repetition. It’s a must, and there’s no way around it.

So, find something that works and keep doing it until it becomes a habit. Then, and only then, will success be yours.

Be Great,

GC
