Do you utilize YouTube in your homeschool?
Mr. DeMaio is one of our favorites! I think we’ve watched every ones of his videos…multiple times!

Loving this book! The short passages allow my reluctant reader to feel successful….which is a huge win. The spooky stories are icing on the cake!!

As adults, sometimes we forget that we can change things that aren’t working....we become stuck in our ways, and let’s be honest, change is scary.
As a homeschool mom, it’s my job to figure out what works best for my kiddo. Right now we are working on some big changes....personally and academically. Change creates stress and under stress....we regress. Sometimes it’s the stress that drives the need for change. Either way, we are making some big changes in order to promote peace and tranquillity in our home, life and learning.
How do you make changes to meet your child where they are?

Anyone have some fun educational adventures planned? I’m thinking of some spelunking, a night in a treehouse, and maybe some tide pool explorations before the weather gets cool.

This.....so many times this! As I begin my 20th year of homeschooling....I’ve been thinking of all the amazing adventures that we took our older children on. Not just trips to zoos or museums, but true immersive education. We learned about volcanoes by visiting one that was erupting.....we visited Kings Canyon National Park to touch the Giant Sequoias. These experiences helped to mold who they would grow to be. I look forward to planning many more adventures with my last kiddos.❤️
