I completed a self portrait with a brain ghosted in. This illustration was completed in three different media: carbon dust for the self portrait, acrylic for the brain, and digital photoshop for the composition. Glad to be back to in person class!

Thank you to all the people who have helped me in this project in the past year and given me a lot of great feedbacks and suggestions 🧡 I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to experience the entire production process - from research, scripting, storyboarding to animatics and final 3D production - with much support and creative freedom. It was a lot of struggles but also a great learning experience. Looking forward to making more interesting films in the future! 🎈

A textbook illustration on leukocyte diapedesis!
Leukocytes are the immune cells in our body that respond to pathogen invasion. They cross the blood vessels to get to the infected areas via a series of events - tethering, rolling, adhesion, crawling, and transmigration. This whole process is called leukocyte diapedesis.

Dear Data 4/12: Dinner in a week. This is me trying to learn new recipes while doing this assignment. From watching YouTube cooking tutorials, to making the dish, then to taking photos and illustration, and finally calorie calculation, it took way longer than I expected. Should have spent more time on other assignment.... 😪
Dear Data is a design practice for Jodie's class. Everyweek we produce an infographic about ourselves on the front of a postcard with the legends on the back.
