The joy of being the reason for someone’s success is indescribable🫶

One of my participants is ready to move to the UK and I’m on cloud nine.

I've occasionally had my online and offline sessions, which cumulatively last until midnight to which I've been advised that at my age, I don't need to work hard for more money.

So here’s the response!

🔊It is not simply about making money. It all comes down to commitment and contentment.

Recently, at around 10:00 p.m., I conducted an online session with one of my participants. Because my calendar was already jam-packed with online and offline sessions on the same day.

When the participant's mother called to ask if I could prepare her for the interview. I decided to cave because she had an interview the next day.

Seeing 11:11 on my phone screen during the session, I asked my participant to make a wish.

The late-night session, weariness, and backache are all worth it when I see the participants achieve.

🔊Now I am incredibly satisfied to share that she has cleared her interview and is ready to move to the UK.

Congratulations Megha! I wish you all the best of best in your future endeavours ❤️

When was the last time you celebrated someone else's accomplishment as if it were your own?

PS: Despite my inexperience, the participant's mother was one of the first few people who believed in me and provided me with numerous training opportunities in my early days.

When do you feel more connected with the work you do?

Throughout my journey, I've been told and rejected for the following reasons:
👉 You are too small
👉 Your voice can only be heard when you are in 30s or 40s
👉 How can anyone listen to you when you appear like a student?
👉 Your age is their experience

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to facilitate 3 days training program to the representatives of at Coimbatore last month [Sept 12-14 2022]

I would be lying if I had claimed I was not anxious about the session.

The participants' advancing age caused the conundrum and anxiety, not the training.

Hence I had a lot of questions in my head before the session started.

💡”Can you make your audience interactive throughout the session?” A part of me questioned

💡 “This is the time to defy the odds” a part of me Introspected

💡”you have never allowed your age to define you and this is going to be the example of it” a part of me assured

I trusted the process and gave in and the rest was history.

During break, on the first day of training, I began to hear soothing words from the participants stating that they would agree on the adage "Don't judge a book by its cover."

That was one of the best trainings I've ever had till date. The words of the participants made me feel cherished and assured me that I was doing my best and that I could overcome even greater odds.

It was not just about the training, it was more about
🎯The Connection
🎯The Contentment
🎯The Interaction
🎯The Inclusiveness
🎯The introspection

Thank you would never be suffice to extend my gratitude to you John sir. I was blessed to have the opportunity. Thanks a trillion for trusting in me

PS: I know I’m not only one in the journey. Many of you might face rejections when you start early. I hear you. But never give up. You will rise stronger than ever.

With 2 months left for the new start of the year. I wish you all determined weeks ahead

Are the holiday blues real?

Sure, it is.

But that doesn't imply you're not enthusiastic about your work.

You can't always be motivated to do your job if you're constantly depressed.
Blues will be there but you'll get through it.

Of course, my label as a hardworking and determined woman made me feel terrible for taking a long holiday break. I believe many of you would have felt the same way.

Worry and guilt trip would have definitely followed you as Uninvited guests, but that's fine. We are not pre-programmed robots but rather humans.

Sharing the wonderful moments after the holiday blues that I had at MRF, Tichy plant

I'd be lying if I said I was pumped to start the day after the break.

Even getting out of bed in the morning was difficult, as I had to snooze the alarm twice, but I was ecstatic to have experienced the great atmosphere from the participants.

Happy Sunday everyone❤️

PS: I'm happy to share that I'm on the path to embracing myself and the way things are.

Do you want to learn customer relations?

Observe the roadside vendors and you will be amazed.

Nobody can teach customer relations better than a roadside vendor

His framework includes both the do's and don'ts in a much easier practical model.

A couple of days before, I went to buy a banana but I ran out of cash

I had to gpay ₹10 and the server screwed me over.

Upon witnessing my situation, the vendor said “that’s alright madam, you shall pay next time.”

I insisted that I was a complete stranger to him and wasn’t sure if I could meet him the next day.

To my astonishment, he surprised me with a broad smile and words “எல்லாம் ஒரு நம்பிக்கை தானே madam [It is all about trust]”

Now I’ve started to recommend his shop to the people I know.

I have to cross the street and walk past the other fruit shops but I still prefer buying from him [Me being a lazy head it’s something unimaginable]

That’s the essence of Customer relations!

Isn't it fascinating and amusing to see people reading 1000 productivity hacks and watching countless hours of videos to learn how to be more productive, yet choosing to read and watch more hacks instead of taking action?

Because the secret lies with the adage “Action speaks louder than the words”

Happy productive week ahead but never forget to enjoy the moment!

Elated to share that I have facilitated the session on “STRESS MANAGEMENT” to the global clients.

Sharing the news with all of you gives me great pleasure. Because it is “TASL”!

I was given the opportunity to facilitate a session on Technical Report Writing for the employees of , an Aerospace and Defense Company.

I was anticipating the day with butterflies in my tummy while yet feeling anxious.

The excitement was overwhelming. It lasted the entire day.

I designed the session to be interactive, when I saw the audience actively participating throughout the entire day, my joy knew no bounds.

I am beyond grateful for the opportunity.

“The thirst for the upgraded one never gets diminished!”

From
Single pulli 64GB
To
Double pulli 128GB
To
Diagonal double pulli 256GB

It's critical that we occasionally upgrade ourselves.

Let's use my old phone as an illustration.

My old phone cost 78000 INR when I got it three years ago, but when I asked about the exchange value for my new one, its worth had declined to 17000 INR.

If one is reluctant to learn something new due to their extensive experience. One might someday become obsolete and their value might decline just like an old phone.

Learning has no age so as the desire to upgrade oneself.

Let's make a commitment to improving ourselves as the new year approaches in three months.

Happy Learning!

Few months earlier, when I was reading a book, an HR asked me, "So, what book is this?"

I said ‘My Life in Circle’ and showed the book to him. He immediately responded, “Oh! You want to become an another Indira Nooyi?

I nodded my head with a firm “No.”

Ah, wait! Another Prathiba Nooyi?”

“I don’t wanna become Indira Nooyi, I want to be Prathiba” I stated

To which he asked, “So, you don’t want to become another Indira Nooyi!”

“No, I don’t want to be an another one, I am and will always be Prathiba Jayaprakash”, I answered firmly

Being told that I would follow in the footsteps of Kalpana Chawla, Malala Yousafzai, Indira Nooyi, Pratibha Patil (especially for the name) and many other icons made me pleased. (Not bragging it!)

Even though I was delighted to get such praise from others, I have always defended my actions by saying that I always wished to become the first Prathiba.

I've been inspired by several female icons. I have adored and admired Kalpana chawla since I was in elementary school but that doesn’t mean I want to be another/next/second Kalpana Chawla with greater praises and attention.

Even if it means less renown, I desire to be “PRATHIBA.”

Everyone’s journey is different so as their struggle and experience.

PS: The same question was asked when I read ‘I am Malala’, the titles of the books have changed, but the answer has always remained the same ‘I don’t want to become her, I want to be Me,”

It’s been a month since I had a privilege to educate girls.

The moment I got an opportunity to educate the girls on ‘Emotional intelligence’. I endorsed it without giving it a second thought.

Needless to say it was a wiser decision.

The emotional baggage and insecurities that today's youth deal with have a negative impact on their sense of self and confidence.

Marriage, procreation, and appeasing society are still expected of girls as their futures in the family. This has not changed in the slightest in many homes.

There were many the spirits of Entrepreneurs, Engineers, Health care professionals, lawyers, journalists, designers, artists and Philanthropists in the crowd.

The girls have had tonne of dreams and ideas, all they need was a slight push.

But their wings to fly high and dream big was clip off for one reason. Because they were born as girls⚠️

Most of them were told,
⚠️You are just a girl!
⚠️Why to dream big when you get settled as a housewife?
⚠️Stop dreaming big and start to realise the reality.
⚠️You can ask for Dubai trip but not for starting your own business.
⚠️Businesses are for men.
⚠️Stop wasting time in aiming for job and start cooking.

And the list goes on…

Listen to the voice of the young girls.

I bet you will be astounded by the young ladies' vision on society if you listen to what they have to say.

Emotional intelligence is a more all-encompassing concept. I facilitated a workshop on self-awareness and empathy to help them become more aware of their potential and blind spots.

The love I received in return from the young girls blew my mind. Such a treasured experience to cherish!

The impact that I created was evident to me in the following week when one of the students shared a message stating that she had persuaded her parents to support her in starting her own business.

Hail Femininity!

Things you do to satisfy your soul.

PS: Influence not to impress but to impact
