Where do I begin…our road trip down to St George with music, laughter, and bonding! 7am Friday morning on the field for the first time this season, first Time with cleats on and in the actual dirt rather than a gym!! These girls crushed it!! Going 3-2 in St George, one loss was to a 6A team and the other a loss by one run! 2 out of the park home runs, 4 stitches, 6 successful pickles, 4 times we caught the other team trying to steal and 8 girls hitting over .400 this weekend!! So proud of these girls and the work they put in to be ready for this tournament! We had the biggest cheering section so much great support by our families and some even surprising their girls by showing up!! The memories made this weekend and the bonds that were made will last a lifetime! GO SCOTS!!

Well 2022 Ben Lomond softball season is in the books!!! 7 wins including first ever state playoff win!! Brand new field and two different Scots hitting bombs out of it! Ups and downs but growth like I couldn’t believe. I set high goals for these girls and they absolutely crushed em!! They worked so hard! Today in our fist playoff win every girl available was able to play and contribute!! It was awesome!! I’m sad to see this season end but I can’t wait for next year!! Lady Scots beat rival Ogden high today by a final of 15-9 in softball. Winning Pitcher Raeganne Wilcox. HR: Dawnavin Frye. First ever home run on the new field by the way! Great job ladies!!!

Spring break for BL Softball started with running a clinic for Ogden city recreation, helping girls from kindergarten to 8th grade get ready for their seasons! We followed that up with a 16-0 win on Tuesday and team bonding night at the Frye’s home on Friday!! Almost halfway through the season and we continue to get better every day in every way! I love watching these girls give back to their community and spark a love for the game 🥎❤️GO SCOTS!!
