Manibaug Pasig Elementary School-YES-O 's preparation for tomorrow, December 6, 2023, tree-planting event. This initiative seeks to promote environmental preservation and instill environmental responsibility among filipino children.

The best way to bring about change is to lead by example, as demonstrated by MPES School Head Mr. Pepito C. Liscano's efforts to make our school greener.
Thank you sir!

The MPES Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) headed by Mr. Renato C. Dimatulac successfully harvested Pechay and other vegetables on November 06, 2023. The club plans to continue planting and serving for a greener and brighter Community, aiming for a brighter future.

MPES YES-O Re -Accreditation has been granted!
This accomplishment exemplifies MPES Youth for Environment in Schools Organization's constant commitment to providing environmental assistance, services to our students, and community involvement. It's a credit to our pupils' and teachers' hard work, devotion, and enthusiasm.
We would like to express our deepest appreciation to our School Head, Mr. Pepito C. Liscano, for his support with our activities. Your faith in our mission motivates us to do our best in every manner. To our SIGA adviser, Mr. Renato C. Dimatulac, thank you for being a partner in helping us achieve our goals and for being a part of this success. Mam Kristel Khaye E. Gozun, our YES-O District Coordinator, for constantly directing us. as well as to the District Supervisor and Superintendent.
This is only the beginning of an exciting journey toward a brighter and greener environment. Stay tuned for forthcoming initiatives that will enable every YES-O member to achieve new heights.

MPES YES-O held a school-wide awareness campaign about pollution, earthquake, waste management and fire prevention. One significant advantage of school-based training initiatives and campaigns is that learned knowledge is not limited to the classroom or the school setting. With continuing interaction, lessons from campaigns filter down to students' relatives and friends in their varied homes and communities.

Why is it necessary to involve kids in gardening?
MPES YES-O: Gardening teaches new skills such as RESPONSIBILITY-which comes from caring for plants. UNDERSTANDING-as they learn about cause and effect: for example, plants die without water. In addition, it also teaches AWARENESS- they become mindful of the natural environment and adopting choices that assist the world, rather than hurt it. They realize that by doing small things like planting, they can help our environment heal.

Thank you madam De Dios for promoting a clean and healthy environment by teaching your pupils how to transform waste items into something valuable. MPES YES-O is proud of you 💚

MPES YES-O members are leading the way in making our school cleaner and greener💚

March 17, 2023 | MPES YES-O CLEAN UP DRIVE
The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) together with some members of the GSP, BSP, and KAB Scouts
united in cleaning the school surroundings. Each of them showed willingness to give their time to clean each area around the school.
Through this activity, they will appreciate the importance of a safe and clean environment. They will also learn the proper waste disposal, proper discipline to keep the area clean, and to have the willingness to be one of the volunteers to keep our mother earth safe and clean💚🌱
The officers together with our YES-O Leader, would like to thank those who helped us in cleaning the surroundings, your help is truly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you still helping, and more projects with you in the future!

The Department of Education (DepEd), in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), established the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (Yes-O) as the only recognized co-curricular environmental club or organization in the schools and consolidates all other environmental and/or ecology clubs or organizations in school with main and primary programs or projects for the environment or ecology in the said Organization.
In line with this, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) officers together with the members and the YES-O leader conducted a clean-up drive inside and surrounding the school premises to help promote cleanliness in the school hoping that this will inspire others to take part and help the community be a safe place for all of us.
