Sometimes students become obsessed with learning ‘advanced’ vocabulary, but then use it in an unnatural way, thereby having the opposite effect of making them sound LESS like a native speaker.
Think about it, how often do we use ‘advanced’ or formal vocabulary in our daily lives? Not so often!!
Sometimes it can be difficult to grasp when vocabulary in textbooks is outdated, and it can be hard to truly understand in which contexts to use more formal vocabulary.
SpeakMore classes focus on helping you to use relevant, modern and natural vocabulary by mirroring a real life conversation. Our teachers are experts at advising you on ‘more natural’ ways to express your ideas!

Our first week of official classes is done! Thank you to everyone who gave us a try this week, we’ve had some fantastic feedback and learnt so much, plus we’ve really enjoyed teaching you all.
We’re currently running 3 English lessons per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
For Chinese we currently have two lessons per week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Remember that our 50% discount on all classes is still running, and you can try your first class for as little as £2.
The feedback we’ve received this week has only made us more confident that we have a truly useful approach to language learning that is not only beneficial but also super enjoyable.
