As we wrap up another fantastic school year, let's take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've had. From the innovative projects in our STEM programs to the dedicated efforts of teachers and students, it's been a year of growth, learning, and achievement. We've seen students excel in their kits, from building their own ukuleles to learning the basics of hydroponics, and our partner schools have gone above and beyond to ensure that every student has the opportunity to shine.

Here's to all the memories created and the knowledge we've gained. Let's continue to inspire and be inspired, as we look forward to another year of exploration and discovery. Thank you to everyone who has made this year a success. 🎓🌟

📏✨ **Unlock the World of Precision with STEM 101's Measurement Kit!** ✨📐

Ever wondered how the smallest unit of measure can have a massive impact on the world? 🌍 Measurement is the silent hero in the stories of great inventions and discoveries. It's the language that bridges imagination with reality, turning 'what-ifs' into 'why nots'!

The Use Tools for Measurement Kit is your key to unlocking this world of precision. 🗝️ It's not just about learning to measure; it's about measuring to learn. With tools like rulers, tape measures, multimeters and digital calipers, this kit takes students on a hands-on journey from the basics of the imperial & metric systems to the intricate art of reading measurements accurately. 📏🔍

But why stop at learning? The kit encourages students to keep the exploration going even after the classroom lights dim. It's about carrying that spark of curiosity into the real world, where every measure counts. Whether it's a future architect crafting models with pinpoint accuracy or a budding scientist quantifying their experiments, these tools are the companions that turn learners into leaders. 🚀

So, let's measure up to the challenge and equip our students with the skills they need to shape the future. Because when we measure, we learn. And when we learn, we grow beyond boundaries. 🌱

Join the movement. Embrace the measure. Be the change. 🌟

Our educational partners are fundamental to continuing our misson, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with some incredibly dedicated individuals last week!

Most of the middle schools in DCS are part of a STEM 101 Grant through our CTE classes. That grant is funded by Ashley Furniture. Yesterday, principals, a teacher leader, and an instructional coach from some schools attended a meeting about the upcoming school year with STEM 101. They toured the Ashley Furniture plant in Davie County and heard from a director at Ashley Furniture Industries as well as a representative from STEM 101. It was a great way to see many of the STEM-related jobs available to our students as they enter the workforce.
