Happy pancake day 🥞

What a fun filled session we had yesterday. They all worked together as a team fantastic and lovely to have new faces join us.

we ended with a pancake picnic, which went down very well a you can see 😁

🌟🌟🌟Spot light on sporting heroes🌟🌟🌟

Sporting Heroes is a multi skills session. Where kids get to be kids, make new friendships, learn, play, and be active.

Multi skill sessions are great for children's communication, coordination, and social and physical well-being.

But what do we actually do in a session????

Each week, we do different activities and games to improve throwing and catching skills, balance, and teamwork and much more.

Assault courses,dodgeball, football, problem solving and parachute fun are some of their favourites.🎳🎾⚽️🏐

Each week involves games (that focus on one of above) a craft and an interactive story 📖 with lots of energy and fun.

when I set steph her first run she looked at me and said ' I can't run' first time out she's smashed the mile I set for her!!

🌟 spotlight on tonight's family fitness 🌟
Monday's aren't all bad..... Tonight included a game of wink murder (fitness addition) then with a circuit that got everyone moving - plank tunnels, donkey kick determination, wall sit aims, copy cat.

followed by a game of squat ball (this didn't get at all competitive 😉)

Ended on a song finisher (if you know, you know)🎵

Fitness doesn't have to be a chore. Tonight, we spent a full hour moving and exercising while having fun.

it's not under charlies coaching for no reason when I say HAVE FUN, BE FIT 👆

Incase anyone needs to see this today....

Being Mend qualified and fitness professional I can't sit and say nothing about this...

Today I've recieved a letter telling me my very active healthy eating 4 year old is overweight and that it has health risks.
And my first thought was BMI strikes again.🙄

Personally, I do not agree with BMI as everyone is so different one calculation can't work for us all.

As a MEND coach, I've worked closely with lots of obese children, and these children were the ones whose weight was affecting there every day life, not because of their BMI.

I'm putting this out there as I can't imagine how this letter has made others feel. if you have received a letter like this or even as an adult, please don't go off the BMI.

A healthy, balanced lifestyle should be well-balanced meals, active and managing everyday tasks.

I've always struggled with changing habits and sticking with them.....trying everything all at one. Since starting Charlie's Coaching and joining in with the countdown to Christmas plans lots has changed. This is with the help and support from Charlie. Always having faith!


Straight back on the little habit changes, this plan really does focus on making small changes in your day to day rountine.

We brush our teeth every day without a thought, exercise and movement will come natural aswel by changing the little things.

these pictures, measurements, and weights just help each client see their progress and feel proud of themselves 👏

As we come to the end of the festivities the next few months can be really hard on people, with the dark nights bad weather ect it's really Important you take care of your mental health as well as your physical.
Exercise is a natural anti depression releasing endorphins.

fitness doesn't mean you have to run miles, spend hours in the gym, or lift lots of heavy weights. A walk each day is a great start 💫

As a MEND qualified coach (for over 10 years) the month of january, I'm going to be really focusing on mental health and breaking down those small habits to give big results.

And as I said to all my count down to christmas ladies once having the weight in and measurements......
it's so important to remember it's not all about numbers or pictures it's about how you feel yourself and getting the best version of you.

My goal in 2023 was to feel happier in my own body. After a few years in a job where I didn’t move much, I felt I was really unhappy in my own skin. I had a gym membership, and I knew what I had to do, but I was not accountable to anyone!

Since starting with Charlie’s coaching, she made me realise that I don’t need to be on the new latest diet. It’s just the little changes that make a big difference. Having accountability made a huge difference for me! I can not thank Charlie enough! Charlie provides support and motivation even when life isn’t going your way. It is ok to have an off week! I really owe it to her for feeling comfy in my own skin!

✨️When I first started the 9 week countdown to Christmas I went into it telling Charlie I had no idea with fitness and I just needed a push in the right direction.
Not only has Charlie helped with my fitness in pushing me in classes, the confidence I’ve gained within myself is unbelievable! Her positive attitude to not only fitness but helping me with thinking positively about myself and setting challenges I didn’t think I could do.
The little habits Charlie helped me change has changed everything for me, the classes and the coaching has helped me so much physically but more importantly mentally. I’m finally finding my confidence and to be able to feel happy in my own skin is a great feeling. Couldn’t of done the past 9 weeks without Charlie’s support, so thank you for helping me find me again💗

Well, it's safe to say the count down to christmas plan really worked.... these ladies have all done amazing 👏

This plan was not about dieting or exercising to extreme measures it was about taking one week at a time and breaking down habits and introducing new ones into the daily rountines.

This was over the last 8/9 weeks and each of these ladies had their bad weeks with illness, birthdays, busy schedules ect but one or two not great weeks is real life but this shows it can still work.

it's important to remember the number on the scales or the tape measure arnt the priority, the important thing is how you feel in yourself 💫

I will be doing a January kick start 8 week plan following the same principles, so if you are interested, feel free to message for more details.

🎟🎅 Kids Christmas party ...... complete 🤩

What a fab evening, games followed by movie finished of with a very special visitor... should all sleep well tonight.

Big thank you to my little kitchen elfs helping behind the scenes.... and of cause, 🎅SANTA! Lots of happy children.

These ladies worked hard this morning, all feeling low on energy turned up and worked their butts off 👏

Some days, the motivation lacks, and it's easy to not turn up.... but it definitely pays off 💪.

Monday's always a busy one, tonight was filled with festive fun for sporting heroes followed by 2023's final family fitness session 😲 how did that happen.

Next week is the kids Christmas party 🎄

Nearly the first week into December already the times flying by 🎅

Please note there is no Wednesday sporting heroes in Haltwhistle for the rest of the year.

Sporting Heroes and family fitness monday 11th will be the last one before Xmas due to the Christmas party being on the 18th.

Count down to Christmas final weigh in and measurements will be Tue 19th ( can't wait to share the results with you all they have all done amazing, i will also give full details of januarys kick start plan too)

Feel good fitness will run right up until the 22nd.
