I am so, so thankful to the many friends who reached out last Monday to help me move into my new office!!! Here’s the finished product...

I’ve got some big news... I need to move my office! The reason is that there is a new owner of the building, a very kind couple who are renovating the building for a restaurant to come in the future. With the building being over 100 years old, they know the renovation will be significant, and at times the power and water and boiler will need to be shut off. They don’t know the full extent of what will be required, and it’s possible those utilities would be shut off for weeks... So they’ve been very upfront with me and even wanted to help me find a new office! While I definitely plan to come back and eat at this future restaurant, for the time being I need to move. Kind of sad because I love this place!

The new location is at 830 East Front Street, exactly 1.5 miles east of here. It’s a nice office building with an elevator (that’s going to be fun for kids!). I am planning to move on March 1st.

My hope is to get a bunch of friends together that can help me move. If you’d like to help, or have a truck or trailer, or just some good biceps to lift boxes, I’d love your help! I’ll share the sign-up genius link here. Please do NOT feel obligated to help! It’s just that some of you already heard I was moving and asked if you could help.

A dear friend of mine, Tricia Morrow, is a math tutor for high school students, and most of her students have come from Interlochen Arts Academy for quite awhile now.
