Kia Ora e te whānau o Papatūānuku,
This page has been created to support our students and whānau during lockdown, by providing a central platform for teachers to post daily tasks. We ask parents to supervise the instruction of these tasks and students will hopefully be able to undertake their work with independence. At no stage will they need to go on Facebook by themselves. Each day there will be a post made with the day's activities and in the comments you will find our Kaiako's supporting videos!
We do hope students' work will be shared, however, we ask that this is done via your class page, so that your child's teacher will be sure to see it.
Please keep in communication with your class teacher regarding questions or concerns. Our kaiako are working hard at home to plan and design enjoyable learning activities. They will be in touch regularly, however, we do ask that communication to your child's teacher be done during normal working hours and no later than 4pm so they have time to plan the next day.
While we are posting tasks daily, please only complete what is manageable for your child (and for yourself). Some days your child/ren may choose to do home helping jobs such as cooking and cleaning or playing games. We encourage this also!
We hope you are well and your tamariki are being helpful at home 🙂 We look forward to seeing them hopefully soon.
